I think cryptocurrency and blockchain are changing us. Because the blockchain is being implemented in many areas and it becomes much easier for us to live, the same cryptocurrency gives us the opportunity to earn money.

In many aspects, the blockchain and cryptocurrency is changing the way we are viewing money, banking and finance. Right now, we have DeFi which is revolutionizing the financial sector and banking and this time it is in the hands of the people and not anymore in established institutions though because this is new there are big opportunities and also inherent risks. In the new world we are in, anything we are doing and producing can be tokenized and be given value. Soon, buying something as common as groceries can have an equivalent of cryptocurrency as if tokenizing our patronage. We can be producing art and can be sold as NFT. This is a brilliant question. Whether it is to be believed or not, most people are in the space to make money. Very few actually care about the technology itself, and at this stage the mind-set in the space is a capitalist view. It is changing the world in a sense of being more open minded about transparency, and how much it matters to people which may have been taken for granted before. Ponzi situations, or scams...this is inevitable whether the good times roll or not, education and due diligence helps, along with real financial applications that can preserve or safely accumulate an individuals holdings, reputable lending platforms / interest gaining things are useful to some degree, if their models are relatively low risk. It will change less fortunate areas with unreliable banking services, seems the most obvious change, with time

I believe it is both. If you look at the positive side, the emergence of cryptocurrencies have changed a lot of peoples mostly financial standings in that, people investing in crypto have now been able to make money for themselves to support their daily purposes and on the other hand, People have made crypto as a means to also scam other investors with regards to individual greed creating a negative image for the ecosystem.

Both of your words are true but for most of people "we are changing crypto". Most of the people are want crypto to make money. They just buy sell crypto and turn them into fiat.
That's the point "crypto seems just to create money and not about the use cases." Because of the people desire to make money in crypto some went to become scammers which is really a bad thing in crypto space. We should not limit ourselves in just getting money from crypto rather to help crypto spread and let the world become aware. There's no problem to create money but do not dive in to the point forgetting your good character, family, health, and hobbies.
