Title: Smart Contract on Bitcoin? Stacks(STX)
Post by: MishaSER on March 11, 2021, 11:25:37 PM
Guys, I recently learned about the Stacks project. Which makes it possible to create Dapps applications based on Bitcoin, it's like Ethereum.
This is my first time hearing about Proof of Transfer (PoX) technologies, but it's pretty interesting.
I looked at the team, they are very smart people from Princeton University.
Here is a video where Co-founder Muneeb Ali talks about the opportunities.

I would like to know your opinion on this project.
By the way, the coin now STX = 1.08 $ https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stacks/

There is a big potential with STX which is pioneering the foray of Bitcoin into smart contract. In my view, this technology is quite overdue and one that will hopefully open up a new vista for Bitcoin apps on the market. We know that the smart contract thing is dominated by Ethereum and other newcomers. Now, maybe it is the right time that Bitcoin will also be the platform where people can do business using smart contracts. I actually just supported a new project Sovryn which is doing the same thing -- bringing smart contracts to Bitcoin.

Well, bitcoin is really a bit outdated and used almost only as a speculative medium, so it would be nice to update it a little and give it other useful features. I have heard about smart contacts on bitcoin for a long time and I would like to see what will come of it. I wonder how the tokens that will be created on the bitcoin platform will differ?

We just have to wait until it is done, it looks like something really innovative.

This direction is becoming popular, we hope that more and more people will learn about it. Finally, we will see something new. Thanks for your comment, I will definitely see what the Sovryn project is.

From what I understand, Stacks want to take advantage of Bitcoin's high security & popularity, while also improving the scalability of the Bitcoin blockchain. I have a feeling this is Bitcoin's layer-2 solution, which allows us to spend satoshi in future easily :)
This is a quite potential project, STX price is also increasing by 600% in the past 3 months. I will pay attention to the development of this project.
Thank you for the helpful info +1

It can be very big project because it is based on BTC. I also firs learned that we could even make smart contracts on BTC. If it is the first one it can also become very big. I also do more research to invest in BTC.

The team is doing a very correct job when they succeed the coin will cost a lot such a project is not a sin to buy now for cheap and wait for a price of $ 100 per coin in a couple of years.

Thanks for sharing bro, there are many gem out there that we don't know about, am guessing this project will have some similarities with sovryn projects also build on btc blockchain and also create dapps I think,
Just now I check the price and it is now $1.21, and good thing is stx is trading on binance for those of us who use binance we can easily buy, but am a bit worried about the supply, kinda huge a bit in my opinion.

Thank you buddy, I think in the future some big players will talk about this project. By the way, they have a staking program on the OKCoin exchange. I am looking forward to using Dapps applications.
