Bank of Russia to start digital ruble trials in 2022

The Bank of Russia hopes to complete a prototype platform for a digital ruble by the end of 2021.

^ it looks like they are following the lead of China making their own cryptocurrency. not really sure whether the digital ruble will be successful in the market because of its many competitors and also it is a centralized currency.

As i read in news - the main benefit of "digital ruble" (crypto-ruble) will be possibility of restoration the funds in case of lost wallet. They didn't say how it will be implemented, but this feature proposed as the most important and the benefit of crypto-ruble in compare with fiat-money.

i think is good information
but iam not hear big exchanger market in rusia can big effect  about crypto price but eth founder vitalik from rusia

This is a good news for Russia and the rest of the world at large. Aside Russia, many of the global leading countries are already considering a national cryptocurrency, country like China, India and Venezuela are also in the forefront of this milestone development.
