well it seems that there has been a dns attack on the defi pancakeswap when you try to access the platform the metamask seed is requested, which you absolutely must not do  https://cointelegraph.com/news/phishing-attack-uses-pancakeswap-and-cream-domains-to-steal-money

I am currently trading in pancakeswap. Nowadays it has become much more popular. I saw that it is currently getting the support of binance. However, it may gain much more popularity in the future. It's just a wait. So make arrangements here. Participate in the trade of each token. I have benefited, you will also benefit.

I noticed that yesterday, too. I wanted to check one coin, but it wouldn't let me go to the site. On coingecko there was information on the main page about the attack, hopefully they will solve the issue soon.
With the growth of cryptocurrencies there are a lot of fraudulent and phishing sites

DNS attacks on pancakeswap/cream is right and it's not uncommon in crypto industry as there was a same type of dns attack on etherdelta and myetherwallet back in 2017 when bull season was going on. So we need to be more aware of this type of things and keep our private key or memoric phrase safe. As always, "Not your key, Not your cryptos".  ;)

There are griefs in life. But it seems to me everything will be fine. Scammers will constantly seek to steal money from crypto enthusiasts and we always need to be careful with you.

I doubt if the security in BSC is as secured as eth network it never happened in eth so far maybe thats why eth 2.0 is not yet live because of rigorous testing they are doing in different aspects of security or the bsc network is not related on this incident only on Pancake website has bugs maybe.

The OP clearly stated DNS. Why are still bringing up and comparing blockchain security between Ethereum and BSC? Here, read up on DNS attack https://searchsecurity.techtarget.com/definition/DNS-attack

Thank you for sharing the information, I have seen a high probability that such attacks will continue to occur in the future, therefore I have never used a wallet that holds most of the crypto assets connected to the Dex exchange,
i will use spare wallet to trade on the Dex exchange.
It was very difficult to detect such an attack, someone who was just trading on a Pancake exchange would probably copy the seed phrase and paste it there.

I bought a token from PancakeSwap, seeing that its value has increased by 20%. Then I go to sell on PancakeSwap. When I went to connect the wallet, PancakeSwap wanted my private key. Seeing this I was skeptical and I came out. Later I learned from PancakeSwap's tweet that their DNS had been hacked. Don't be afraid, now PancakeSwap is safe. You can trade if you want. And you can check from here if your country is safe. https://dnschecker.org/#NS/pancakeswap.finance

Many of us have heard of this attack. The authority of PancakeSwap has cleared the matter through their tweet and they said to all be patient until further notice.
