Kraken's head of growth, Dan Held, thinks Bitcoin could reach $1 million within the current market cycle.

There are more realistic forecasts about the growth of bitcoin, its growth can reach 100 thousand dollars. A million dollars for one bitcoin is already a fantastic price that can never be reached.

Maybe 1million dollar per BTC may not be possible in the short run but i will disagree that 1 million is never possible because it is. Very very possible, all it needs is for adoption to penetrate real deep and the value will get astronomical.

I agree with the big possibility of Bitcoin reaching even more than a million dollar but maybe the question in my mind is when...so this is not a question of if. There can be a time when Bitcoin will really get into this potential if the same problems that we are seeing now will continue for years. The three things mentioned by Dan are indeed big factors, but I think we need more. The downside is that with the value of Bitcoin rising the more it can get the attention of government-paid regulators, but eventually we know that Bitcoin can easily survive regulatory heat.
