Title: What do you think about CMT & XXP bounty campaigns?
Post by: MrSpasybo on March 24, 2021, 02:19:05 PM
I am a bounty hunter, and I participate in 99% of all bounty campaigns held on AltcoinsTalks, except for a few that require KYC from hunters.
I need to emphasize: this is not a FUD, I think I have the right to share my thoughts as a loyal AltcoinsTalks bounty hunter.

There are currently 2 bounty campaigns that make me suspicious. I want to know your opinion.

1.CMT = Community Token https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=194051.0

Website: not accessible
Twitter account: not updated
Telegram group chat: I get banned for inquiring about the #DevelopmentTeam 's information.
Details: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=194051.msg1101120#msg1101120
=> I have stopped participating in this bounty campaign.

2. XXP = https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=198356.0
Website: there are too many spelling mistakes and the website features are very unreasonable. It doesn't have the sign of a professional project:
SING UP & SING IN
How we can forget password when sign up???

=> I am continuing to participate in the bounty campaign and track the development of the project.

I think these are two campaigns managed by the team itself, not through any of the famous Bounty Mananger.
Please share your views on these 2 bounty campaigns. Are you continuing to participate in these 2 bounty campaigns?

Transparency matters. If you think they are not honest from the beginning, it could be until the end of the campaign. Even they promote their own project it should not be done in a lazy way not unless they are too busy or maybe they are just a group of scammers imo.

It is your choice to take the risk supporting them or wait further good development before giving your full support.

Yeah, participating in bounty campaigns is everyone's choice, depending on their belief in the project. I just wanted to hear from everyone about the bounty campaigns I was suspicious of. This can help, for example we won't waste time on failed bounty campaigns like KingCasino, MOONDEFI or BinTex from BountyDetective.

Personally have done a good research on this CMT, and to be honest with you I didn't find anything interesting about it, only negative thoughts like the ones you mentioned there's no working website, Twitter not updated too? also getting banned for asking about the team info is a red flag for me, probably scammers trying to hide their identity, XXP on the other hand looks like a good project and I heard the coin is already tradable on hotbit(correct me if am wrong tho.) regardless of their cheap website design it might turn out well, anyway you can choose to promote them or not, it's a matter of choice if you see something good in any of the projects, then you can go ahead to give it your full support.

As I saw CMT, I decided not to participate because, in my opinion, it is an uncertain project. But XXP, I will participate, the only thing that bothers me, I can not understand they need to personally write to approve your application.

Actually I quit bounty.  However, the two projects mentioned here are fairly good.  However, the projects cannot be called good if they do not run the next campaign in the market.  If the CEO of the project is good then of course the project goes a long way.  The project will be better understood only when there is a token list in a good market.  Nothing can be understood before that.

I already checked their all websites details but undoubtedly CMT and XXP . But XXP already launched in exchange. Above all mentioned projects seems to me scams . I don't believe at all.

I do not participate in these bounty companies, I looked through them, but they did not inspire much confidence in me.
A new project Hashbon appeared yesterday.

Also a rather strange project. I wanted to participate because there are quite a few bounty campaigns now, especially signature campaigns. Looked at their site, there is very little information. Their telegrams bounty, although it shows more than 4000 participants, apart from repeating meaningless pictures, does not contain any useful information, there is no live conversation there. The bounty branch is somehow clumsy, there is not enough to organize normal work, some moments are more indicative than working ones. Until I write bad things about them, there are many suspicions. We need to take a closer look for now. It will all the same soon everything will be on top.

That statement of you OP convinced me that CMT and XXP are not worth to join that bounty, new projects must always have the latest updates with its development weekly or even monthly to show transparency to investors of whats going on with the project they must alsoi active in social media or in telegram groups if you feel that this projects are too slow or to silent then better stay away from them and find new bounty.

Community Token (CMT) has already becomes inactive. Their telegram group are deleted and their website is donw. BM (bounty thread poster) has been inactive from 25th February. So, this is a dead project or they have became SCAM project after taking money from the few investors.

XXP is a new bounty campaign. Team itself manages, they have few mistakes. I am observing but still not participating it.

generally, i avoid participating in the bounties that doesn't have their token listed in exchanges because there is a high chance that you will waste your time working with them, but i advice you to check their whitepapers looking for more details and also keep an eye on their telegram channels and how they respond to members as well ..

Yes, I participate in these projects as well as you. There are not many reasons for panic, so I think that all this can be rationalized. I personally trust Company XX. I did not try to get feedback from them, there was no reason, now the reason has appeared and I will try to contact them and get an explanation about such a gross spellchecker error. I'm sure they'll fix it. But does that mean they're scammers, don't you think?

The misspell doesn't claim the project is a scam, it just makes the project a lot less professional. Hope XXP will revise the website after you comment with them.
The fact that their token is listed on Hotbit does not confirm anything, we need to continue to watch the development of this trading project.

I don't think tgese are good project. I only join the projects that look promising. But now very few bounty campaigns are coming and only a few of them give us pprofit. As you are saying if there are spelling mistakes in tge web then it is most likely a shit project.

from the beginning the bounty appeared i was no longer interested in joining. because the requirement for a new project to develop forward is to have an attractive website and have social media such as Twitter and Facebook to attract investors.
but if the project does not have an attractive website and social media accounts, it will be very difficult to develop the project. because an investor needs the trust of the team through their activeness on social media.
i'm not saying a scam, just saying whether the project can be successful without social media and the web.

it's better not to do what makes you doubt

Good research and info Senator +2. I also wouldn't get involved with these bounty campaigns for the reason you mentioned, they are not good signs at all.

The fact that XXP has used bots or multi-accounts to give "life" to its thread is something that has already made me walk away from that project without thinking twice, nor did it occur to me to participate in its bounty. As for CMT I can say something similar, it did not seem that it looked good from the beginning, so I did not participate either. I have nothing against those projects, but there are many ways to get it right.

I am sure that you are definitely saying this thing based on your years of experience as a bounty hunter. We know that in the past, we are always victimized by many scams, and although we have not lost money all because we are not buying any coin or token we can be wasting time and effort when we encountered a bad project. I am not participating in CMT but I am into XXP and yes I also noticed those discrepancies you mentioned. I am hoping we can communicate with the team of XXP so we can know them better and maybe we can even offer free spelling corrections. I am really hoping they are a true project and will not just be an exit scam.

I haven't yet met those 2 bounty campaigns that you mentioned, but thanks to your statement that sharing your experience with regards bounty hunting. Now I can easily mark as X these CMT and XXP  by hunting another campaign to join.

Yeah, I hope that the team members of 2 projects will read this topic and join us in discussing with us to help bounty hunters feel more secure in the process of supporting project promotion to the crypto community. The best way for us to overcome doubt is to discuss it together.
We are not talking about the idea, the solution or the potential of the project because that is, in the long term, anything is possible. We talk about how they build and market the project now. There are too many issues to be skeptical of.
And this is not a FUD :)

CMT looks scammy to me, to be honest. It was initially promoted by a dubious bounty manager, but the bounty changed hands. XXP itself looks quite feasible, though the website doesn't look inspirational to me at all
