Crypto bullrun is making our lives change. Many office workers quit their jobs to become traders. Many people suddenly became rich by storing a few good tokens since 2017, and TV shows started talking about Bitcoin as digital gold...
And crypto bullrun is also changing the gaming market, in both the negative and the positive direction.

+Negative: The price of BTC increases, miners want to expand mining system, the demand for graphics cards spikes. Graphics card prices increased from 30% -50% and still not enough to sell to everyone. Gamers can not have access to the best graphics cards, they are forced to use outdated graphics cards for under $400.

Besides, during the epidemic period, the game shops in Vietnam had no customers and many shop owners decided to take advantage of gaming machines to mine BTC. Surprisingly the profits are even higher than before, they make $150 profits instead of $100 per day without any services more.

The incident is more serious when the miners decide to buy gaming laptops to mine BTC. And so gamers don't have access to the best hardware for their passion and work.

+Positive: perhaps because of the difficulty in gaming market, more gaming platforms received more attention, such as Refereum - a platform where gamers & viewers interact with each other and get rewarded. Refereum's RFR token has grown by 7500% over the past 1 year and is 150% higher than the 2018 ATH.
This could be the first signal for a trend shift in the gaming market.

Yes, you are right, now the price of video cards has become huge, but they say that over time the market will change and the prices for video cards will not be the same. This is due to the global economy, I don’t know how true this is, but the arguments are convincing. Lucky for those who bought themselves video cards when they were cheap.

The bull run has positive and negative effects. The positive effects are quite obvious.. Fatter assets etc. But what about the negative ones. More bad actors are now attracted to crypto with the attendant rug pulls now a daily news offering.

Do you mean a gaming market that is related to the crypto world?Actually, there are some utility BUt if it is about the ways to make payment, deposit and also withdraw in gaming is surely changing.Moreover when they accept crypto as the currency in the game, it will be so okay

Indeed this bull run is a live changing experience, it has turned doubters into believers, for the first time bitcoin doesn't seem like it's ever going to dump, to be honest at the start of the bull run I though history was going to repeat itself one more time, but its good to see that it's proving us all wrong and keeps rising above our expectations.

Bitcoin is literally the most popular thing in my country right now, seems like so many people are more interested it now than ever.

Yes, and in my view, I think 2021 will remain bullish till the end going buy the continue influx of institutional investors into crypto. Infact everything is changing and new records has been created this year with no sight of repeating the last event of 2018 that we experienced the worst "all time low". It now a "forward ever but a backward never" slogan. Crypto to the moon.

In 2017 gamers faced a shortage of graphics cards because miners bought them all. This year the same thing was repeated, especially when Nvidia accidentally revealed how to unlock the graphics card's performance limit :)
If the gaming market continues to grow in its current direction, it will have to accept the influence of the 4-year crypto market cycle.
I support new ideas of gaming on decentralized platforms instead of investing in gaming systems. PlayKey is one such project but I have not seen it bring any remarkable product. At the same time game-viewing is becoming a new trend and Refereum is doing a great job when combines with twitch to reward both gamers and viewers.

Gaming market will certainly have a close relationship with the crypto market because:
+ The graphics card price depends on the crypto market;
+ Currently many traditional gaming platforms accept payment and reward players with crypto;
+ Gamers love to discover new things, they will participate in new gaming platforms on blockchain;
+ NFT will be the optimal method for game publishers to integrate many unique features in the future. We have seen many NFT gaming projects emerge and have been very well received by community.
