Title: Can bounties be paid with any of the altcoins?
Post by: Bobcrypto on May 13, 2018, 08:44:39 PM
I am wondering whether one of these altcoins could be used for paying new start-up project, coins like etheruem, dash, litecoin, monero, bitcoincash etc. Just like what is obtained at other forums, i think that a selected coin(s) among these popular altcoins could be used to pay for bounties especially new start-up coins that are built on thesame blockchain technology.eg etheruem and a new coin on it blockchain.
Again, this bounties payment could also be partly the existing coins on various exchange, and the new start-up coins. Please share your thoughts.

Why not? That is definitely possible.
You can pay anyone with any altcoins for the task they do as long as they accept/agree with the means of payment

The meaning of ICO is to spread new tokens, selling them for bitcoin, ethereum and other well-known promising coins. Therefore, ICO teams are very reluctant to pay again with the received coins with participants of the generosity campaign ICO. This contradicts the meaning of the ICO.

It will always depend on ICO of which altcoins platform they will prefer to use like Ethereum and Wave in which are the most common on paying bounties and participants but usually it will be the token that was facilitated by the ICO was to be use as it was their own token was the main project of their ICO.

I think that depends on the agreement between the worker and the employer. With any coin, the most important thing is to agree to each other between the two.
