Post by: Master107 on April 19, 2021, 02:54:35 PM
Hello guys,,, let us discuss about this important matter which is so relevant all the time in different season.

Cryptocurrency is great with so much potentials and possibilities to change everyone's lives from rugs to riches. However life is not so good in some cases due to the fact that scammers, fake accounts, and evil desires of other people could severely damage someone point of view and lifestyle. The damage may increase to depression which is a serious case of a person that could end to suicidal decision.

Btw, if you are depress now. Don't take your life. Life matters the most.

FYI, I'm not depress. Let assume maybe there is someone here so depressed because of the sudden dump last 24 hours ago. I hope this thread could help them to renew their confidence dealing cryptos.

For you, how you should deal the cryptocurrency depression?

Well, there are no benefits of being depressed, and we know how that can really affect one's disposition in life. Cryptocurrency is just like any area of our lives...there will always be ups and there will be downs. And we can't have the two at the same time. We can be celebrating when what we are holding will be experiencing some unexpected jumps in value, but we know that nothing can stay up forever there will always be corrections. And the thing is that we just have to look at the market history to know this big reality. Instead of making it as a reason to get depressed, we should look at dips as a great way to make more money by buying more. All because the market will surely be rebounding in a matter of days. There had been no dip that happened forever unless of course what you are holding is shitcoin. Things boil down to mindset.

Newbies in cryptocurrency are vulnerable in depression. Majority of newbies viewed crypto as a place to earn big money in easy way and in a short period of time. Some went to devastating experienced when they trust someone to invest their money (depressed).

Newbies must know the pros and cons in crypto investment. Failure to research could be in danger.

The reason why they say invest what you can afford to lose is not far fetched, if you invest a raesonable amount that wont hurt you too much even if things don't go as plan, you won't find yourself in a depressing state. it is not a good idea to get yourself worked up when the market is down, best thing is take a break and come back when you are a bit relased.

Nothing terrible happened and you get used to the fall of cryptocurrencies over time. After a while, everything will show growth again. If you are upset or depressed, take a break from the cryptocurrency charts and watch a movie or take a walk.

The problem can arise when you have borrowed the money or invested the money you need to live in crypto or stocks or some volatile or risky investment.
This is nothing more than gambling or addiction.
Or the disease.
You can do this under the influence of alcohol, drugs or wrong friends.
If you are an unstable person and there are other influences, like the death of a close person, then you can quickly suffer from other diseases such as depression, for example.
You should definitely visit the doctor if you can no longer find joy and can no longer remember when you last felt it.

Crypto currency is not a matter of joke its really a investment platform where profit and loss are associated with this. So few people who recently added to crypto currency market their thought is in the crypto market there is only profit in crypto market but they do not think that it is a investment platform where there is a big opportunity to gain also there is a possibility to big loss. So don't be depressed if you want to deposit in the crypto market if you fall in loss you have to wait untill profit comes.

Everyone should know about the high risk before entering crypto and should not invest anymore tyan they could afford to lose. Nobody will give you something for free with bigger money you need to take bigger risk. And everything that goes up will come down also so be prepared for every situation. Dont trade if you can afford to lose.

Depression is a very bad counselor. Being in a state of depression, a person often makes erroneous decisions (often, these decisions become very dangerous for health and life). It is necessary to fight depression and overcome yourself.

I am sure that if we feel depression in the crypto world, it means that we are not ready yet with the crypto world. Moreover if we only focus and know about the profits that we can gain from crypto, not for the risks. Many beginners are like this, feeling depression once they ar elosing or drop the price

To be able to overcome depression due to crypto, which is indeed an uncertain price and very volatile, the way I do is to accept the reality and also collect not only one type of coin.

Don't invest in crypto if you don't have enough experience, no one guarantees profits will always come, Depression arises due to inexperience and never makes a profit when investing or trading, so doing due diligence before making a decision is necessary, so as not to experience losses at a later date

True that but the issue still remains that some investors would believe that this is the place to make it big and quick, even though that might happen in a tiny fraction of time hence they invest more than they can handle when thing go sideways and if they cannot handle the situation, Depression. I think people should really understand the market and invest what is affordable should it happens.

Anyone who has been with cryptocurrency since 2017 and earlier, experienced the fall and stagnation of the 2018-2019 market, and now is still working in this market, is unlikely to fall into a big depression. Now the market as a whole is growing and slight drops in prices cannot be discouraging. The real fall of the market may still be ahead, and this should always be taken into account and be prepared for such a sharp turn of events. After all, states can still change their attitude towards cryptocurrency.

First of all there are many things that contribute to some people's depression in cryptocurrency business or trading maybe you sold your token before the price shoots up, I think I have encountered such where I sold my coins before knowing it in fews the price start mooning that alone caused me depression anytime I remember it, but another thing is to control the your mind because you cannot change it.

Such drops give shocks to those who jump into this market for quick gains. Certainly, this market is not for quick gains and one should not think if someone makes good money in a short time why I would not. Daily hackers also try to hack the account of the traders in some cases they become successful and I sympathize with those who become a victim of hacking and lost his all assets and their planning ruined by hackers and that can cause depression to anyone because we all have high hopes that our coins will give us good money but imagine if we hacked how we will feel. It definitely hurts badly anyone So be careful always. Do not trust anyone. My advice for especially newbies do not be panic by the drop this is the part of the market be patient and hold on to your holding soon market will recover and do not be a victim of any FUD in the meantime.

Cryptocurrency is a very promising asset and investment. But we have to be careful in investing, because cryptocurrencies are very volatile. My advice, invest in your ability to lose. Because you will not be depressed if your investment loses. In the cryptocurrency market there are ups and downs, we can celebrate if what we invest has an unexpected increase in price, but we definitely know that nothing can last forever, there must be a time for correction.

The deeps or dumps and pumps that bitcoin faces is a certain thing that always comes at the other end. One will have to learn how to deal with this kind of situation in other to survive the long run in the crypto space. I learnt how to deal with depression as at the point when the price of bitcoin made a rise from the 2017 ATH of $19,000 and went above the $20,000 though I was still on the point that the price might drop soon, and so it went high to the price rang of $28,000 to $30,000 before I got attracted that there is a new bull run and I jumped in again, letting the market do what it feels that it wishes. Well, for now that institutional bodies has joined the market (though am not a big investor) if the market is not in their favour, then I can manage my own side now at this current or recent deep.
Before every dawn, there is a dark time, when there is life, there is hope. Lets patiently wait for the market to set in, it will and it always does come back for all, cause no one is left aside.

You're right, crypto currency is high volatile, but patients is better than panic when you see the bearish and fud..I think we should be careful to choose the coin that we will invest. Because we need profit at the future.

This is a good topic I must say, because I have a friend who was scammed all the cryptos he has worked and invested in 4 years to gather, though the scam was due to his stupidity and greediness, but the issue was that after he lost the money which was almost 60k dollars to the scammer, he slide into depression, for 3 going to 4 days, he still couldn't believe he's money was gone, eventually he fell ill and was hospitalized for almost a month, when he was in the hospital, it doomed on him truly that all his money was gone, he tried severally to kill himself, the hospital had to invite a family member to watch him 24/7, it was really a sad experience for me cus I felt real pity for him, he eventually recovered but have refused to come back to crypto ever since.

There will be always depression in the crypto world. Moreover, if we are not really ready with the risks of the crypto. Mostly, people are coming into the crypto world to earn money, get profits, and be rich soon. However, they don't think about the risks that they can get. High risks, high profits

I agree and I have witness the exact same issue too in fact currently happening now. Just completed a bounty which was good profits after the distribution and decided to sell off since the price was dipping and not long after the price reversed and has done like 5x already from the point I sold but like you said, it is the way you are able to control your mind when this things happen that is important so as to not fall in depression and move to the next one.

I advise everyone not to think of cryptography as the only and unique occupation. Take care of yourself! Morning exercises, proper nutrition, plan your day so that there is no time for nonsense in the form of TV, TV series, soap operas... If you have good health, you will not know what depression is!!)

This topic still remains relevant, as prices in the cryptocurrency market behave cyclically and these cycles of growth and decline change each other. And now, for a year now, this market has been dominated by crypto-winter. When working with cryptocurrency, you need to follow a few simple rules so that later you will not be disappointed in it. First of all, we should not invest too much money in cryptocurrencies. I don't like the expression commonly used for this - invest as much as you can lose. Any financial loss is still an irretrievable loss.
You should also sell your cryptocurrency if it has reached high price levels and is already generating good income. The expectation of even higher prices leads to the fact that the price then falls by 70-90 percent and may not return to previous highs.

When the cryptocurrency market falls, you need to consider the risks. Sell half of your portfolio, keep half for better times. Then, when the growth of the crypt comes, then move on. You need to remember and know what is ahead, move on. A person can only arrange what's next. And to fall into depression and leave, this is a matter of the weak.

Yep, when the crypto market down, I think we should consider about the risk and the purpose.
We should buy the dip Nd hold until the market grow.
But, I think we will face long term bearish.
Keep hold
