Central banks are paying very close attention to stablecoins, seeking to control them — and decentralization may be the solution.

I don't agree that stablecoins as what we have now in the cryptocurrency can be heavily affected with the coming of CBDCs. No, those two are so different and although their use-cases can somehow be similar I think the users are not gonna be the same. I see no reason for stablecoins to be alarmed by the eventual coming of digital currencies provided by central banks. Let's not go imagining things way beyond what can be possible.
