One of the many official functions of the government is taxation to fund the many activities it has. That got no problem with me as long as the rate can be justifiable and not meant to kill the very industry it is taxing on. Now, with Indonesia I understand that there is a big and growing interest of the people with cryptocurrency business. Indonesia can be a leading crypto hub in this side of the world and I think the government should recognize the big potential of crypto as a source of money and a stimulant for its economy. Taxation is always better than ban.
