Elon Musk has just made confusing moves on Twitter related to Bitcoin, the community is not understanding what point he is trying to express: support or give up. And no matter what, Elon Musk's tweet still affects BTC price and the entire crypto market.
My friends are investing based on the news, they call it market and investor sentiment analysis. However the news is constantly changing and they are also constantly changing their investment strategies.
I just see the news as a way for whales to manipulate market or legitimize price movements. Sometimes the news is quite useful and interesting, especially news about blockchain/crypto events, but I cannot use them for my investment strategy. At least I don't want to be a whale's puppet.
I use a bullrun token price prediction model and everything depends on numbers and market situation, not news. The separation from the news makes my investment strategy more stable and gives me higher returns.
Are you following the news as part of your crypto investment strategy?

Basically i don't follow any news or don't rely update for long term hold coins/tokens. News basically creates Fear Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD) that misleads people or investors. Last five years, we seen many news (rumor) that created panic and ruined the market. Elon Musk is big whale. When he tweets for specific coin, we have to be aware before fall.
-
In my view, following the news and making changes in strategies can be good if one is involved with everyday trading because this is where the price movements of cryptocurrencies can be changing many times. However, if one is hodling and has a long-term strategy it is not good to be affected by the news as this can lead to premature selling due to panic or FUD and even FOMO. What is happening right now is the tail-end of Elon's influence on the cryptocurrency market...as soon only his diehards will be listening to him and people who are not new to this industry has already enough of him. We have to remember that an influencer is only influential because there are people who are swayed to be influenced by that person. As for me, I am so tired getting to know his childish antics which is not really representative of who he is as a professional and a very successful investor and entrepreneur...he is now a manipulator of the market.

Actually news can not be real strategy for investment where so many incorrect news everywhere. Some wants to manipulate the market by spreading wrong news and some are not. So if a real investor process his investment with news, he is foolish person as well as. Investment should be through roadmap of company and market display. So if I'm real investor I will follow this.
-
but the influence of news can very clearly affect the price of bitcoin and altcoins, in my opinion it doesn't matter if you follow the news for crypto investment because it is clear that news greatly affects prices, and can also predict itself to make us have an analysis. everything is the right of every way of investing.
-
I do the both. Io follow news whenni thin its legit and strong enough to show some movement in the market. But news and tweets like people from elon i dont follow them. I follow news because in the maret condition right now new people are very reactive to these types of news and i use these conditions to make money.
-
News does not affect my investment strategy but It is important. It affects the masses and because of weak hands, we all lose money. Especially last three months proved that the psychology of newbies can be more important than the fundementals.
-
I never follow the news r tweets made by him and I don't care about what he is doing. However, it is not ignored that what he tweets always give a big impact on the crypto world. This is what makes the crypto market become very bad after Elon Musk here. And hopefully, not all people become influenced by what he said always

Cryptocurrency news dose alot of harm to some Cryptocurrency project especially when the news is a negative news channelled towards Bitcoin it automatically affect other crypto asset that the value are not yet rooted in the Cryptocurrency industry or that have not potential, but some news actually boost Cryptocurrency market.

It’s key to understand the reasons for any bull or bear run before initiating a investing. Knowing about the appropriate time of selling is the best approach for capitalizing on gains.

I think the price of Bitcoin will breakdown at $30k. Then the level of investment on other coins including Bitcoin will increase a lot. So the cryptocurrency market is much more promising. Many of the top investors follow here. Because they will never support any coin that has bad authority. So there are developing authorities, who should invest on coins.

Hype, Elon Musk followers will panic when he posts break up emoji with BTC
I always see all the latest information, but I never sell or invest because of information from an Elon Musk.
I still see a lot of Bitcoin Holders today, and if the total amount of Bitcoins traded is less than the current supply, then the whales are still holding large amounts of BTC and they are trying to buy by splitting several small orders.
Long term HODL is good without seeing some information from Elon Musk, because as we can see El Savador country has accepted BTC payments and it's legal there.

I do not use the news as my reference to determine whether to buy or sell. news only makes many people to make hasty decisions. Even I don't believe Elon Musk's words

Yes, if the price of bitcoin drops below $30K anything is possible, but until now bitcoin is still stable at $30K - $40K which indicates there are still many investors who are not affected by something and can still maintain it.

News is important. You can actually make informed trading decision based on it. But the source is more important
-
the problem is that most people believe so much in News. So many trades News and it keeps working for them. elon and other major influencers knows the strategy of gaining the market. i am certain that this was an opportunity for so many financial institution buy bitcoin and other altcoins . waiting for the market to bounce back before they make announcement
-
The more news we have the more confusing the result. By following Elon can make your choice in one to follow and wait the result of his tweets. Following any individual doesn't mean no more risk. Still risky to follow any one as the market is volatile and some are manipulating crypto behind the scenes.

There is a group of people who say that one of the factors that change the price of Cryptocurrency is because of the News, therefore every important news about Crypto really has a tremendous effect. Moreover, the news is from an influential person like Elon Musk.
-
News should be taken into account in any case. They give a general idea of where the cryptocurrency will move both in the near future and in the longer term. This should be done if only because cryptocurrency is still not regulated by states and any decisions of states, especially large and developed ones, regarding cryptocurrency, directly affect the prospects for the development of this market and, of course, the price of cryptocurrency.
-
of course news takes over many things especially crypto because people can be moved or easily attracted and can be widely spread all over the world
-
IMO, I believe the crypto industry, has a significant connection to the news and information with regards if it was positive or negative because every time there's a piece of good news the market react positively while there's bad or negative news the market will react negatively in that comparison we can say that news and information around the industry such as regulation, hacking, etc. can cause both effects.
