Title: Is Bitcoin a Bubble?
Post by: bosshyip on May 20, 2018, 07:23:21 PM
Hello community,

I have heard some reports that 'someone' has put $1 million on Bitcoin being $50,000 before the end of 2018 and other conflicting reports that Bitcoin is a bubble that is going to burst. I understand this is very much a time will tell kind of question and some may argue that the press has said bitcoin is  going to burst/fail since it came out but look at it now... and I understand there may be at least a chance it could be worth $1 million in the future.

What I am asking is what are the big Bitcoin holders thoughts on this are they bailing or are they holding for the long hall, if they are holding can 'The Bitcoin Bubble' really still burst?

I have most of my eggs riding in this crazy but attractive world and would really appreciate inside feedback.

I don't consider Bitcoin is a bubble, I read recently that we are about 18 million who own crypto currencies.

When I think about blockchain technology, I can't believe that only 18 million people will want to benefit from it.

It's like those who said in 1996 that no one would want to communicate via email or online chat ahah,  and you know what's been going on since, people show their entire lives to strangers just to be hip and have followers  :o

Definitively, Bitcoin is not a bubble and will never be one.

What kind of stupid question is that? Why would you call a new technology a bubble ? This is just very unfair question.

Thinking and analyzing this kind of question make me feel so paranoid I think bitcoin will be bubble soon but crypto will not be.

I would noe say it is a bubble per se , but it has some small similarities that are similar to bubble and might confuse use. Some people think it is complete bubble and fraud.

I personally don't believe that Bitcoin is a bubble, it may sometime look like one due to media spreading this idea. Blockchain technology and Bitcoin can change the financial world.

yes, bitcoin is a bubble, because bitcoin prices are always changing, sometimes up sometimes down, so the changes form a bubble curve

I don't think Bitcoin itself is a bubble but we're definitely on an ICO bubble right now and need for some of these projects to implode.. its also getting exponentially worse because not only are there more ICO projects every day, but they're demanding more and more money.. 25-50 million seems quite common now, so the chances of 100x are exponentially less whereas selling below ICO price or inevitably going to zero, the risk is exponentially more.  The math shows its a bubble and it will burst sooner over later.

I think perhaps it makes sense to compare the price of Bitcoin with an inflatable bubble, but only this bubble has a strong shell with a unique volume and over time the skin of this bubble will become more expensive than the most expensive metal in the world. If you use the terminology "inflatable bubble" - then most likely this term can be used for any asset that exists on the stock exchange. And it is not known which bubble will burst earlier.
