It can be said that IDO is a new trend, but it is also too risky that anyone can create a token on BSC and conduct IDO on PancakeSwap. Many people have made great profits, but many have also lost money on scam projects. I still believe in IEO more than IDO, at least IEO is verified by the exchange.

IDO is certainly a lot easier to do compared to an IEO and because of this many scammers are using this strategy to get as much money as they can and then run away...well maybe with some exemptions of course. As usual, being an unregulated market exposes many people to scams and frauds and for now there is no solid solutions for this problem. Personally, I prefer to invest with an IEO compared to IDO expect if I am sure of the project and the people behind it.

I don't quite get the explanation of the op regarding IDO, I thought the full meaning of IDO is Initial Dex Offering (IDO) Which is usually carried out in most of the dex we have in the market, most project with dex like polkastar are hosting ido on their network to support and encourage the community IDO are gaining popularity because they are less stressful and cost effective than ieo, many projects now opt for IDO which is not a bad idea at all.

IDO is currently a trend being carried out by a Cryptocurrency project to raise funds, this way is done after the ICO and IEO projects have passed with many failures. Of course, the hope is that IDO can provide greater benefits than the previous method, but before we join the IDO project, we must still carry out further research on the project to minimize losses. I completely agree, I can see that this new fundraising trend is gaining much popularity slowly, since most projects are looking for a cheap and easy way to launch their project, I think IDO appears to be the most easiest of them all, ieo and ico already fading away, project hardly conduct ico this days, IDO is the best way for project to raise funds, many projects dex like pancakeswap, Dodoswap, uniswap, 1inch and several others has made it much easier to carry out ODO without stress.

I don't think a professional blockchain team needs the services of Blockchain App Factory to launch IDO. IDO is conducted very easily, team only needs to create token on Ethereum or BSC with a cost of a few USD, then create LP on DEX to be able to conduct IDO.
However, for me, IDO is often risky, IEO on Binance is considered safer and more potential than IDO.

Agree with that observation Mate, I think IDO has no extra precaution like KYC procedure because it was decentralized unlike what Binance Launchpad IEO is required to every project to ensure that only legitimate project will be catered on Binance IEO launchpad because through that process they can minimize the risk for an exit scam event.

Obviously IDOs are the new IEOs now that DEXes and AMMs are holding the world in sway. And malicious characters have hijacked it unfortunately by way of rug pulls. I was a victim. Quite sad
