Title: Tron Link Wallet, XMR coin, Scam or Not
Post by: msz900 on June 22, 2021, 03:34:56 AM
Greetings ALT Users,

Recently I received MXR coins in my Tron Link wallet, which I can't be able to withdraw but they have mentioned a website in the transaction details which is "Monero coin (XMR) is listed on the TRON public chain. Random airdrops across the entire network exceed one million U.S. dollars. Users who have been airdropped log in to https://xmrcoinswap.com/ to receive airdrop rewards." I goto the website and click the swap button but nothing happen like the coins did not swap, and later I came to know that there is some kind of scam going on in the market. I have translated the above details from the Chines language, so maybe that's a Scam from some Chinese hacker.
The Aim to post here is to confirm from other users that if there is someone who also received such transaction, as now I am not able to send my FRX coins to another wallet.
Admin/Mod Please confirm that it is a scam or anything like that and also please share the information or Pinned it in every Crypto section so other users can be saved and they avoid such scam/transaction or clicks.

For reference my TRC: TMH5rUNQCM5wgvCGjGghXXvMsgzdYzyBSS you can review it on Tronscan. Have a safe crypto hunting.

Kind regards

Update: My TronLink Bandwidth is continuously decreasing, any solution? @MrSpasybo, @Master107, @alltalk, @Malam90

You got MXR, not XMR, and we haven't heard from Monero about such a new crypto yet. Therefore, it is possible that the information you receive is a scam.
Thanks for your information, you can report this here: Scams & Phishing (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=84.0) or in ALTS Telegram group.

Hello, sorry I'm late.

@MrSpasybo is right. MXR is not XMR. I did some research and couldn't find any information with regards to XMR airdrop. Possible it is scam.

I also suggest, please, always do some research to avoid scam giveaways or whatever harmful for you.

When you can smell something fishy especially that has connection with cryptocurrency (which has been the main focus of many scammers, hackers and phishers lately) then I am advising you to run away and never return to that site. One thing for sure is that scammers are getting so creative these days, so they can evade our sense of doubt. As for me, when a program is asking anything from me - be it more information or funds - I usually stop and take a pause because in most cases those can be just another scam disguising as a angel.
