I am no longer surprised at any tightening that is taking place in Russia, given what kind of criminal Putin regime is now ruling the country there. Moreover, when it comes to cryptocurrency, which provides citizens with relative freedom in the field of finance. In Russia, they actually banned the use of cryptocurrency, and now they are going to confiscate it if someone accidentally finds it. Considering that for real confiscation it is imperative to have secret keys to wallets, and this is very difficult to obtain in practice from cryptocurrency holders, then, indeed, such confiscation will still be a rarity. The bulk of people, I think, will continue to have and use cryptocurrency, and in order not to give away their secret keys to wallets, you can find a lot of reasons and excuses.
