The decision of either to sell or hold depends primarily on the capabilities and market demand of the product of the project. There are some projects which are just a repetition of already existing projects without any inclusion of innovative or creative idea. Some are also run by inexperienced team which reflects from their website and whitepaper. With such projects, i sell the tokens right away after i receive them before they turn out to be shit coins on the market.
-
a year ago I always waited somewhere a couple of months when there will be growth and then selling, but now I sell right away
-
Hmm. It depends I sell right away the coins if I observed that there's no increase movement in its value, but if there is, I'll definitely wait for the highest value it may have then sell it.
-
Yes before selling token from an ico project should wait whether the project will run according to the roadmap. otherwise I will sell the tokens and buy tokens or coins that are good and potential to rise in price.

We should monitor all our crypto investment and make sure invested crypto has potential to increase so we can divert to other cryptocurrency if the crypto we invested is not playing very well.

It is always best to wait for sometime before seeing it. It is best to hold for some period.
-
Now that is an interesting question.
If i bought from ico and it made 10x instant, yeah i sold. But otherwise, i am a holder.
-
if that's the thing no reason to hold for the long run and even participating in the pre-sale and ICO will not be my interest. Taking risk for such ICO has a double impact results of losing your fund.
-
I will wait, although it is bitter and must be extra patient.
Because I believe the market will increase from the end of July to December when viewed from the footsteps a few years ago .
-
It all depends on the potential of the token. If I see it to be a good token with higher chances to rise, I hodl if not I sell
-
im selling it because most of my altcoins are not worth to wait
-
I make try I try to understand the coin or the project and so that I will know what its backed with. If I do my investigations and I know it will be a good coin I choose to HODL for long but projects which I think has no future I sell it immediately it hits my wallet.
-
i dont want to wait! nowadays almost all altcoin in the market after listing in exchange they drop instantly. hype are no where to seen.

Of course. I will wait. When the pris is low, I hold my coin for along time.
-
It depends on how you would take this situation. If the price of your coins is found to be profitable in the market at the moment you received the bounty reward, then its good to sell right away. But, if the price is very low, then HODL is the best option because it may increase and more profitable after several weeks.
-
there is a direct sale and there is a hanging depending on the value of the coin
-
Before selling or buying tokens it is better to learn how the project works. if the project has a team and a qualified advisor then I will hold the token of the project. I am sure the project will have a high value in the future.

Being a bounty hunters when i recieved my rewards in bounty hunting mostly things i've doing is to divide my bounty token i recieved and the half i convert it to fiat money, for the purpose of my daily needs and necessity while the other half i hold it for trading investment someday.

The best way is to hold if your token has big potential in the future but you can sell that token right away if have some less value. Well, its all depends on you, on what your the best decision. But people say patience is a virtue.
-
I will hold a few moments maybe 1 or 2 weeks. if the decline continues and there is no team responding to the progress of the project, then I will sell it because I believe the project will fail in the future.
-
I think we will wait for a higher sale price, so we will also get more profit in the future.

I prefer sell my tokens and exchange to ethereum and bitcoin. Because ethereum and bitcoin are the best crypto and more valuable.
-
if in my opinion it all depends on the market price, if it is worth the price to sell, then it's okay to sell the tokens directly! but if it's cheap, it's better at Hold first! if it becomes garbage, it does not matter.

I think now it's better to wait rather than sell right away, especially if a start up has a bounty campaign. In this case bounty hunters will sell a lot right after a token is listed on exchanges and this way dump the price. Besides all ICOs have roadmaps with concrete milestones achieving which usually gives a great boost to a token price.
-
It would be our pleasure to sell right away the token that we know will turn to scam. Prevention is better than cure. Prevent to lose while you have your control. Wait further instruction for the coins that will last longer.

I prefer wait and hold my coin. I see the fluctuation of market. If the market is green I will sell it.
-
For me, most of the time i received bounty tokens i prefer to hold it for at least 6 months before selling it to give opportunity to rise.
-
There are two strategy of investment in my fortofolio, short term investment and long term investment, for short term investment i always buy and sell the cryptocurrencies and for long term investment, i hodl the cryptocurrencies at least for one year and will takes large of profit from it. Usually i will hodl for long term of investment in ICOs projects and some alternative coins are like ethereum, EOS.
-
That's why we need to have good background knowledge about the coin/ token that we are holding. Always do some research, look for coin reviews, ico reviews, etc. of the coin we are holding. If you are conviced that it has a good potential or would be profitable in the future, go for hodl. But if its just an imitation or without proper backing of the team behind it, better sell off when it can still bring profits to you.
-
I think that too, sir, because now a lot of ICO projects are coming up, so we have to be careful. I myself often get junk coins at first. Now the coins are still in my wallet. I do not know how long it can be sold for not entering the list in exchange ;D.If you have a potentially rising price coin, I think there's nothing wrong with hold it
-
If its a high potential project, i'll hold for some time but if its not like them i'll dump the tokens i have.
-
Yes, now we need and the truth is well prepared and expect growth as much as next year. Until that time, you just have to wait, but it's better to trade if you are profitable.
-
now we have to sell our coins, because the price of coins is now starting to stabilize, and also we have to earn money for the day, we have to sell our coins for a day.
-
Normally what i do is to wait awhile instead of selling it right away unless the coin that i get is worth way more than i expected, some of you might say since this is the case i should hold longer but i rather earn lesser than taking the risk of it might drop anytime or another scenario i take the money to invest in another coin.
-

i think you only get tokens from bounty :D

I personally sell right away, because the price often decrease.

I think its depend on the value of coins that we have, when the value is high so we sell right away but if the value is down we better wait and be patient until the value will rise again.Whe you wait theres a big chance you can earn more profit.

In the falling market, you don't need to sell. And now the whole market is falling.
-
I do not sell all my coins right away but I use my discretion in judging that. There are some projects that I think they will not go a long way so I sell those ones, but those with a higher potential, I keep them.

Don't worry about the price of cryptocurrencies especially for bitcoin, ethereum, EOS and any other the top ten alternative coins in coinmarketcap because usually the price will increase again. Just remember the history will reapeat its self so do with price of cryptocurrencies, we need patience when the price is in down trend that's it.
-
I totally agree with you because the duplicate must be cheap and fall into the abyss.
all ICO projects must have innovations that do not yet exist in this world. so that the coin will continue to rise in price.
-
I think we prefer to stay at a higher price, so we will also get more profits.

I would strictly follow this rules as of now. Because holding option is way more prone to bad returns. It is best to flip all your tokens when it first reached to its exchange to ensure that you are still receiving good profit.
-
If the value is high we sell directly, but if the value goes down we better wait and be patient until the value rises again. You wait until there is a big chance and can generate more profits.
-
all depends on the price in the market, if indeed the price is reasonable then I will immediately sell my token, but if the price is too cheap, then I will hold it first.
-
Sometimes I immediately sell it immediately, but there are times when I only sell half of all tokens I have, that's because I want a better price. Because sometimes some tokens even jumped up after we sell it.
-
Yes, it is true. we must immediately sell if the coin will go down. the cause is that, because of the lack of experience of the cultivators of a Project. and that is very detrimental especially for investors who have entered.
-
for now, I choose to hold the coin up. because selling coins now won't benefit me. but it depends on you, because you can also do strategies that you think are good.

Yes all of people has own strategies in cryptocurrencies investment, personality if it is long time investment i will hodl up to the target of profit has been reached i will sell all of them. But if it is trading alternatives coins in the market i will sell or stop loss if in my personal analysis technical the trend down of price will continue.
-
I prefer to hold back for the current price, because the current price I feel is very cheap and it would be nice for us to wait for a more expensive price.
-
Yes, before I joined the ico project, I usually saw what projects they developed. this year many ico projects have the same concept. no change to help everyone.
-
Most of the time, my decision will depend on the particular project. If the project is very solid and it has already sealed a lot of partnerships with very popular companies around the world, the likes of IBM, Microsoft, Google, and so on, I might not even sell a little despite an initial pump by the time it hit exchanges. But if the coin is barely thriving, I will just sell a large amount or even all by the time it hit the exchanges.
-
I sell part of the coins I get from bounty and HODL the rest. I do this because I do not know the potential of the coin, and with doing this, I share in the profit and loss of the coin.
-
sometimes I also do it sell partially to meet the daily needs and the rest I will keep it up until the price increases

I personally prefer to wait, I hold my coin. I also participate in bounty program to get benefits.
