Title: Do you think crypto is at war?
Post by: Domithra on May 29, 2018, 12:35:50 AM
Like a ball thrown over the staircase, almost all the major cryptocurrencies are experiencing the free fall mode and one thing i've realized for sometime now is that whenever Bitcoin goes down, the rest of the coins follow the trend.
Firstly, do you think there is a linkage between the fall of Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies?
Secondly, do you think crypto is generally at war, the reason for the recent dips?

Honestly my understanding is limited regarding that hypothesis on bitcoin, cryptocurrency and war. In my opinion the decline price ofbitcoin and altcoins is just one way to attract more investors and push the holders to sell. When time comes we can see the red color turn into green. I do believe on that.

You have a point here, but i think that much of the reason for this free fall most time is basically the demand and supply principle plus price speculation, and media influence etc. I think most cryptos will some days stand on it own and not being influenced by bitcoin downward or upward trend.

I also keep on thinking about that many times since bitcoin is the crypto currency where the biggest whales are living.

War or not, but the point is that government is fighting crypto , it is not trying to eliminate  it, but it rather tries to control it and use for its own purposes.

We have already seen for a long time that almost all altcoins are repeating the price movements of bitcoin. And this is not very normal, because, it turns out, we do not have a free crypto-currency market.
I do not think that the crypto currency is fighting someone. It has completely different, peaceful tasks and functions. It is designed by giving people many amenities and opportunities to gradually displace other types of money.

Altcoins are falling in price after bitcoin due to the fact that it still has a price dominance in the cryptocurrency market due to its high level of capitalization. In any case, this will change someday, because cryptocurrency is developing rapidly, and bitcoin as a whole is aging.
I see no signs that cryptocurrency is at war with anyone. The market has always been, is and will be competition and this allows it to develop.
Cryptocurrency is also not worth fighting with states, because the result will not be in its favor.

We should see market movements with maturity, the ups and downs are part of the routine especially when market is bloated or extensively pump we can expect deep corrections as well so it is all very natural.

true, market correction is a common thing for a market...
it is impossible for all cryptocurrencies to go up in price there will definitely be a breakout point where the price will fall drastically and I see that is what is happening in the price decline in almost all cryptocurrencies.

The decline in Bitcoin or other crypto token/coin price isn't a sign that crypto at war. Indeed, there are many new coins/altcoins but they can be handled very well without the need for war. Even there is a stable coin, it isn't the part of the war in crypto space, mate.

Many people say that if the falling bitcoin price also affects the altcoin price, that's not wrong but there are some altcoins going up when the bitcoin price goes down. I think it is the market demand that affects it

I don't know why did you ask that crypto is at war? Isn't that when the price of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency got dumped their both price in the market it became an opportunity for any investors to buy em, am right? And also the reason for dips too is because of the manipulators of the big whale investors.

Cryptocurrency shouldn't fight with anyone. There can be no violent methods here. This should be an absolutely peaceful process of growing an alternative to the current financial system of payments. The popularity of cryptocurrency should grow in connection with the new opportunities it provides and the ease of use for people.

True, crypto is not fighting but rather competing to be the best. the term war means to compete with each other, not to bring down each other.

I don't know if Bitcoin is linked to other coins. But when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of other coins usually goes up a bit. But some coins do not rise in price, but Bitcoin and other coins continue to increase the amount of trading. Bitcoin is very valuable in the market It can be a very valuable coin in the market. I also realized that when Bitcoin goes down, the rest of the coins follow the trend. In conjunction with some cryptocurrency.

At times, cryptocurrencies have to fall in price so that new investors will come to the cryptocurrency sphere and these investors will start investing in cryptocurrencies, otherwise if cryptocurrencies will only grow in price, it will of course be beneficial for everyone, but big players do not want such scenario.

I have read several posts regarding the topics and i get the answer which is posted by you. I corroborate your concept. It is true that crypto is not fighting with others. It is running on it's own way.

What do you mean war? War with who and why? You didn't elaborate on your questions and you would get varying answers to it, which might not satisfy you

From the beginning of my forum i saw straggling market and still its continuing. So i will say crypto is at was because no prediction work here and no body know why price moving down or up. At pandemic time its price was very high as many men invested here but now gradually its in fixed price. So its really a war time.

I personally think that BTC has been taken over by Banksters at many levels. The people mentioned will never invest in a project that disrupts the current system. I guess that all contributions to the code must be validated by blockstream core developers. If Im right than ist this a scarry situation.

Of course, there is always a connection between the fall in the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Altcoins are forced to follow the price movement of bitcoin, based on the fact that it has a very high level of capitalization and this affects the percentage of bitcoin price dominance over other types of cryptocurrencies.
This is not to say that cryptocurrency is at war with anyone, including the currency of states. Cryptocurrency needs to smoothly and organically fit into the existing financial system and interact with fiat. This is the only way she can count on spreading around the world and creating an infrastructure for walking as a means of payment.

Bitcoin will always rise and fall. This is an exchange delta for experienced traders who trade bitcoin on cryptocurrency exchanges. There is no war like that, because ordinary trading is characteristic of the cryptocurrency market.

I agree with you, both.
There is no war for bitcoin and altcoin, It's just competition.
Bitcoin as the King of crypto currency will lead altcoun to get the high value of their tokens.
Altcoins will always  follow bitcoin value.
It will always happen at crypto world.

So many times, bitcoin will rise well at first a the other altcoin will follow steadily. Bitcoin tends to have higher rating than many
altcoin. But as a matter of fact, which of them came first?most tr when the prices fall, it is more important for traders to quickly buy and store coin at that period . Only a few altcoin beats bitcoin, and every investors is competitive.
