Because most people are afraid of the unknown. Anyone afraid of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency does not have adequate knowledge in cryptocurrencies and perhaps have been feeding himself with the fake and bad news circulating about Bitcoin.

bad news and lack of understanding creates bad impression to someone to keep himself away from bitcoin, most of all is the volatility of btc. But to the one who are willing to take the risk has the chance to lose and to make big profit from it. Of course it depends on how knowledgeable about person is.

I have read your comments and it's all true. Fear of the unknown or uncertainty. This is the result of lack of knowledge. Plus the negative feedback from the media connecting bitcoin to illegal transactions, drugs and kidnapping and also by referring it as "scam" makes people more scared of bitcoin.

i think most of people afraid in bitcoin because of the fake news spreading in the world thru social media that bitcoin is a scam thats why some people dont want to know about bitcoin and dont have interest and some are also afraid, afraid to know t have knowledge about bitcoin.

The current problem with bitcoin is that its price is very unpredictable. Today the price is high the tomorrow it’s down. Due to this people or investors are scared to invest because they cannot predict how the market will behave. Even with Bitcoin having been working well you cannot still term it stable that why they were afraid of it.

I dont think so what is main reason why most people afraid of bitcoin but maybe its all about the negative issue of bitcoin and some people says that bitcoin is a scam so i think that is the reason why people scared investing its because of the negative issue. But being afraid will never help you to succeed.

I think in general most peopple are afraid because of people fudding on being too late to the party or just believe everything their neighbors and banks say. Its ridiculous to think this is going away or going to zero... with all the rumors of buying on the OTC markets sentiment will change.. but theyll buy at all time highs, then bitch about it forever :D

People have their own reason to afraid bitcoin or love Bitcoin. People afraid something which they cannot understand and bitcoin is quite complicated to understand. Some time Bitcoin is used by many anti social people for kidnapping, murdering child pronography etc by using Bitcoin uninterrupted money transaction facility. And this one of the reasons why people dislike it. Bitcoin is a highly volatile currency due to this many people losses their money while investing in it. It is not a legal currency so this one of the reasons people doesn't trust on it and start dislike it

I think you have a great point of view. Or in addition due to inadequate knowledge of bitcoin platform it might be contribute also why people afraid of bitcoin because they think that online job like bitcoin investment are more on scams activity, and nothing benefit we get from it.

I think most of them didn't even know about bitcoin and blockchain technology, and currently, there are so many scammers and ponzi schemes based on bitcoins and other altcoins so when people get lost they will post just about their loose but not how the got loose. Due to that newcomers will afraid to join with cryptocurrencies.

Since the evolution of Btc, media reports about it have been negative and many great investors have speculated negative comments about Btc. This has gotten into the heads of many and have hence not bothered to find out or learn more about it.

Absolutely unknown is what the majority afraid of for it is unknown. Unknown problems in unknown time because we have unknown solution. But actually the unknown is searchable to break the chain and become free from unknown fears.
