I think crypto currency is the future currency, It will be more needed at the coming future and has been predicted will replace fiat money.
But not for the few years, It will happen at the next several years again.

In my opinion I think the government will not allow that cryptocurrencies will replace fiat money because you know the crypto is volatile and not all people uses device or mobile, I'm sure some people still prefer fiat money.

As for me I consider that cryptocurrency will be very popular all over the world. It is an opportunity to get passive income. Also cryptocurrency are decentralized, so they don't depend on governments or corporations + it is an opportunity to be anonymous. I don't think that in near future crypto will replace fiat, but they will exist together.

Something to bare in mind, we already have cryptocurrency ...its called crypto dollars. More money is sent digitally today, than in cash. The "control" is what a good portion of people would like to see change. Will the control change is the question. I don't think crypto can replace fiat because governments won't be able to accept crypto in place of fiat. Fiat is a powerful tool for governments to regulate and control the economy, they are not going to give it up. Cryptocurrencies (with the exception of stablecoins) are subject to market volatility and has no astronomical guaranteed returns or promises. Fiat money is phisycal money, And we know crypto is Digital currency.
