Title: Are Altcoins left behind in Bitcoin's recovery?
Post by: MrSpasybo on October 15, 2021, 10:28:31 PM
Now BTC has stayed above $60K, the quick bounce has taken us all by surprise, and also worried us. The majority of Altcoins have not yet recovered and Altcoin/Bitcoin rate is being negatively impacted as in a price shock.
BTC.D is increasing showing that money flow is being concentrated on Bitcoin and not Altcoins.

I myself am worried about this, because I only hold Altcoins. If BTC continues to rise too fast, Altcoins won't be able to keep up and the altseason may not come and we may not be able to get big gains in Altcoins volatility.

What I hope is BTC will sideway at $60K for a long time for BTC.D to drop to 35%, so money will flow into Altcoins and we see altseason.

What do you expect in the near future? Which scenario do you think will be optimal for the entire crypto market in November & December this year?

Commonly, altcoins are following the increase of Bitcoin price. If the prices of altcoins are decreasing during the high move of Bitcoin, just wait for the Bitcoin price to be a bit stable or starting to sideways. I am sure that it is a good sign for altcoins to increase massively again. What we must do for now is to wait for the time of altcoins days, when the altcoins are increasing their values signifincalty. Some people stated it may be in week 3 or 4 of this month.

This usually happens: first, bitcoin grows in price and if its growth proves to be prolonged and it does not quickly return to its original positions, then altcoins begin to grow in price. Therefore, there is no need to rush to conclusions, but wait a while. After some period, capital will surely flow into altcoins. The significant value of the cryptocurrency is concentrated in altcoins.

There were times when Bitcoin made surprising upward movements and really we can conclude that those were the bearish periods...and yet altcoins are not taking the same energy from Bitcoin. In many cases, we just have to wait as this is just a natural cycle for Bitcoin. Soon altcoins will be taking the focus once Bitcoin can be stabilized at a certain level. As long as we are not holding shitcoins, we just have to wait for a while.

Yes, Altcoins are affected we all know when Bitcoin rises most of the altcoins stop moving because most of the traders choose BTC instead of Altcoins we will see movement in Altcoins again when Btc starts consolidating. The money flow in altcoins will increase when BTC starts moving sideways.

Now BTC has hit a new ATH at 67K, I expect BTC price to move sideways soon to give ALT a chance to recover and grow. BTC is back to the old top, ALT is also likely to return to the old top and grow even more strongly in the altseason.

Every market will have its own chance. So far, we know that Bitcoin will be always leading. The price of BItcoin will be rising at first and then it will drive other cryptocurrencies or altcoins to have their own time to rise up also. But commonly it will follow the BTC era.

I see most alt coins growing alongside Bitcoin. Almost all of them including the unpopular ones, growing as well as Bitcoin. In my own opinion, I'd say that most alt coins will even grow higher and higher when Bitcoin start to sideways in price or halts at a particular price.

Yes, bitcoin price always lead and rise up first. then altcoin will follow it.
The king is always at the first, and follower such as altcoin at behind.
But no matter, I see current bitcoin price has touched 66K USD, altcoin will go up soon.

Bitcoin prices are currently rising the most. More bitcoin prices are rising all the time. However, at present the condition of other coins is not very favorable. However, as an investor, I am hopeful that the prices of all the coins in the cryptocurrency market will continue to rise significantly. So I think Bitcoin will grow a lot more. The price of all other coins will increase accordingly.

December is past the middle of December, it's now the 17th but I haven't seen any Altcoin movement reaching a new ATH. Actually I hope by the end of this year I can close the year with high profits from the Altcoins that I hold, but if this situation persists until early January, then my target is missed.

I guess it's not, if the recovery is just plain simple and no manipulation was induced, I believe Bitcoin and Altcoins are both gaining with the same momentum in terms of a price rebound, but if there was a manipulated gain Bitcoin price will be easy moving up faster and leaving, Altcoin price hanging and for me that was noticeable.

The current drop of bitcoin is showing how unpredictable it could be and this is very dangerous too. so going into crypto is not easy as it sounds like. but with the recovery in coming bullaun, all the loss will be recover in no time.

I’m buying now and if the market goes down again, I’ll buy again since my purpose is to hold until the next bull trend again and I’m still confident that it can happen this year so buying at a cheaper price now is a good idea. When Bitcoin's recovery many altcoin recover.

The established price movements between bitcoins and altcoins will not last too long. Altcoins are developing very quickly, and bitcoin has practically stood still in its development for a long time, and I don’t see any prospects in this regard, since there is no single team behind it and it is very difficult for disparate groups of miners to reach any consensus. Because of this, the ratio in price dominance will gradually and steadily change and not in favor of bitcoin. Over time, the dominance of bitcoin over altcoins will disappear and completely different relationships will develop in the market. I don't think the market as a whole will benefit from this.

I don't care about negative issue, we should hold crypto for future.

Talking about negative issue, it will always be there.
So we should realise about this.
I also didn't believe about the negative issue, I think It's just market strategy to dump the market and whales will buy the dip.

That's true, when bitcoin pumps almost all of altcons also will pump.
That's the nature of crypto, bitcoin as the king and altcoins as the follower. I agree with this opinion

It's the reason  why bitcoin is remaining become the King of crypto currency.
Because bitcoin is always leading the crypto market.
When bitcoin pump and altcoin  still struggle, keep calm.
It just need time to grow.
Altcoin will always follow the bitcoin progress
