In response to a letter from the U.S. calling on Facebook to halt its stablecoin and crypto wallet projects, Diem stated that it “is not Facebook. We are an independent organization.”

Well, this is a new development to me. And if Diem can really proved that it has nothing to do with Facebook anymore then maybe they can convinced the senators to stop interfering with its business. We know that Diem was called as Libra in the past and that it was led by no other than the founder of Facebook. So maybe legally speaking, Mark Z. is not anymore involved with Diem yet there is that strong probability that senators continues to associate this organization to Facebook. Let's see if eventually Novi from Diem can see the light of the day.
