Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky) believes cryptocurrency may become the reserve currency of the world in the future, according to an interview that aired last weekend.

I am also having the same feeling, bitcoin may become the reserved currency of the world in the future. As we may observed, theie are many cryptocurrecy analyst that now believed that bitcoin is a hedge against inflation, and if more people starting thinking of bitcoin being a possible reserve, it may be acepted generally. Let wait and see how things turn out to be.

While it is difficult to predict something about this, since the situation around the cryptocurrency is changing very quickly. Anything can be. But it is too early to draw definite conclusions. This possibility of having cryptocurrency as the global reserve currency is not entirely impossible the way we are seeing it now but then again, that all depends on countries if they will adopt it because there is another big trend right now and that is CBDCs which to me is more inclined to get the interest of central banks because that is something not beyond their control and manipulation similar to the fiat money. Anyway, it would be exciting to see what can be. Now, on the level of the people and not on the government, Bitcoin or any other coin can soon be their reserve currency.
