Title: What makes people think they are inferior?

Some people tend not to believe in themselves? They find themselves to be very inferior. What do you think makes people think they are inferior?

People are of different kinds in this world. Some people are very confident whilst others are moderately confident and some too have low confidence in themselves.
Individuals who do not believe in themselves or has low confidence in themselves have problems in the developmental stages according to Erik Erickson's theory of growth and development.

Other growth and developmental theories may explain this as well.
Sometimes, it may take the help of a psychologist or psychiatrist to help individuals with low confidence level.
