Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse believes the influence of Bitcoin (BTC) over cryptocurrency prices will gradually cease to exist as markets start to acknowledge the differences between these assets.

Cryptocurrency prices have been highly correlated with bitcoin, the first and most famous out of thousands that exist. But that could end soon as markets start to acknowledge the differences between these assets, according to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.

Uggh, this coming from a team that not only hoarded most of its supply but is now planning on dumping 1 billion tokens into supply for next 4 years or something.. if bitcoin loses its dominance, it surely won't be to some centralized garbage like Ripple.

its hard to say that it will loss position because most of the investor make BTC as their gateway to cryptocurrency. i admit that different coin has to be independent with each other,  but btc greatly influence altcoin in the market and it's not stopable by now.

I am glad this news is already tired that the whole crypto market depends on the price of BTC
It is not possible for something to grow at a low BTC price.
The main thing is that it did not work out that BTC began to grow and the rest remained in place
