Title: Counting posts
Post by: SnowDawn on June 03, 2018, 10:25:42 AM
Hello. I can not understand how the messages are considered. For some reason, when you look at posts their number differs from that indicated on the page "Summary"?

Some people have had the same experience as you. The number of posts that you make does not add points. There may be some posts that are not in accordance with the rules so they are not counted by the moderator.

Counted posts are quality posts, help members here or share experiences. If you make writing that does not contain important news, tips or information, there will be no points for you.

In addition to the posts you do not follow the rules, usually your posts will be deleted if they contain sentences. My point is that your post does not contain important news or information, tips or questions related to crypto.

For now there's no strict compliance of the post and as long as your post is very long the system automatically counted the  post but we make sure that we are following the rules because if not we might earn negative karma.

Post more than 72 characters is counted as a post. Post at general section and introduction doesn't count. Non topic post are often deleted by thread moderators or admin. Moreover you can get negative karma too.

Always make longer sentence atleast  twenty characters and don't make a post in general discussion if you want your post to be counted.

In order for our post to be valid for counting we should follow the rules most especially the number of text required when posting.

I also encounter the same problem but in my case I posted more than 72 characters without the space when you count but my post count won't increase. You guys encounter the same problem as I did? If you guys did please help me understand more of the forum's systems.

I did, I think it's similar to bitcointalk on how many post points will be added once you post within a week or 2 weeks just like in bitcointalk where you only earn 14 activity points within 2 weeks. If it's not the same then it might be something else or another forum system.

Making posts must be quality. So try to make a post that contains tips that help or contain news related to crypto currency. Because when you make mere sentences, you won't get points from the posts that you make.

I think another post that does not enter your points has a reason but for me you just need to repeat to enter but should every 6 minutes before you post again for prevention banned

All you need to do is to post your posting on time as it is not possible for you to disqualify it. We need to follow the rules every 6 minutes.

posts that are counted as useful and helpful posts for others, not posts that are useless like mere short words like THIS HOT the post will not be counted because the post is useless

In crux, if your post is useless and not helping anyone, then it won't be counted. Try to post quality stuff, try asking good questions or helping someone.

So a moderator manually indicates whether a post is usefull or not? And then the points are counted?
And how people in here get "awesome" percentage?

If the post is reported as low quality post, the moderator can decide whether to delete it or not. I hve not read an instance where mods deleted a comment or post that were not reported.

You can find answers to your other questions in this board https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=161.0

I saw a few members with, let's say, 50 posts and 10 karma, while there are also people with 200 posts and 1 karma. So karma is basically given for highly useful and informative posts, right?

Some posts really do not count, if they are too short, or do not make sense.
Now they can be taken into account if temporary organisms for some ranks are not sustained, namely:
For Beby Steps, the number of messages will not increase after 40 messages, unless seven days have passed since the account was created.
For the junior member, the number of messages will not increase after 130 messages, if 30 days have not passed.
For a full participant, the number of messages will not increase after 300 messages, if 60 days have not passed.

The time limit and as a result in the number of posts is not so tough. An average of 5-6 posts per day. This is much more than it was and in fact there is a bitcointalk on the forum. There activity takes into account an average of one message per day. Therefore, restrictions on this forum are acceptable.
