Ethereum is best for me. Maybe it's because I like investing in new projects which deal in tokens most often.
If I had the chance to modify or add one more, i would have added minexcoin. Coin of the year. Check it on coinmarket cap.

I think 'favorite' is probably the wrong word, it implies emotional ties and that will drag you down. Decent list though and I think that most of the ones listed are strong. Big supporter of Neo, especially with the drop, it is back down to a very 'buy-able' price at the moment.

Obviously Bitcoin is my best coin but i always hold ETH because i trade in ETH pair. I like to hold XLM, EOS, ABX, NEO, RIPPLE, DRG, FTXT, CYFM, MFTU and Waves but Bitcoin is the best choice to me all time.

Keep BTC , BCH, ZEC and some tokens with bounty. Now if you take the first hundred coins of the rating, then during the growth they will be able to show a decent result.

if I still hold bitcoin as my favorite, and for ethereum to be able to beat XRP, of course you have to have a strategy that can get XRP out because XRP has a pretty strong strategy

I prefer to buy Ripple and Ethereum. These coins look very promising to hold, whether for long or short terms. XRP and ETH are the most valuable altcoins till now. So, it is a very strong reason to choose them for my favorite coins.

Considering the fact that 2018 was mostly dominated by a bear market that has brought massive losses to the crypto world, I have large expectations of 2019.I expect the BTC and ETH, the favorites to regain their positions which were in December 2017.

It is okay, there is no problem to invest Bitcoin. Bitcoin has everything to gain big profits for you. IMHO, only Bitcoin can guarantee for the bull time. There is no bullish without a significant increase in Bitcoin price. I think people who choose Bitcoin for their main assets are smart investors.
