I recently came across a new currency DIAM which though initially based on their own proprietary tech have transitioned to ERC-20 in the span of a few months. Would the coins I have already mined be changed on their own ? or would the older protocol still apply to them?

What I know based on previous experience is that there must be some form of a swapping to be available to holders of the old coin. The best thing to do is to talk to a person connected with the platform so you can be briefed on the details of their plans. Or was there no announcements to this effect? If the team is very credible, then there must be something allotted for you and similar coin holders and if there is none then there is something wrong with them. Just wondering...why did they transferred to Ethereum which is the network now known for outrageous gas fees?

Thanks for the info. I don't know the team personally but I will mail them regarding the GAS Fees. The website looked legit though DiamCircle

this is a wake-up call for a project, for example, I think so, quite a lot of projects promise a lot, then at the last moment they change their shoes and change their roadmap and plans, and sometimes even several times.I advise the author in the telegram channel of the project to find out how you can exchange old coins for new ones and not expect much from such projects.

That is quite iffy of the project to quickly swap platforms in a space of months. Also there are usually token bridges which swaps your token that is based on the Diam blockchain to the new Ethereum blockchain and the project team always avails users of such bridges ahead of time. Or they may tell you to send your tokens to an address and get an exact token based on Erc20

This helps. I went through their whitepaper though and it looked legit

It's like the GeNX,I have this coin from 2018, now the team do bridged coin to tron network and I regret that because they have the L1 blockchain which I think is fast.
i never heard of DIAM project, i think that coin you can swap to erc20 network with few steps that informed by #DevelopmentTeam
