I imagine it to be totally automated payment - with no fiat , only digital. Perhaps it could have a competition of bitcoin or smth.

No! I can not imagine that this will happen in the future, I can't even see it to bitcoin. There are services that eth and bitcoin are lacking and the only solution is making another crypto to assist the needs what is lacking.

To be honest I can't imagine ethereum as the only one in crypto for the future because there will have huge ethereum deficiency and serious altcoins imbalance of crypto Harmony with bitcoin.

I also cannot confirm what kind of future will eterium. my hopes and prayers of etherium will continue to evolve from day to day, the bigger the etherium and achieve fantastic prices. I'm optimistic etherium can reach it.

Despite the fact that ethereum is one of the best and most promising coins, I do not think that this coin, or bitcoin, or any other crypto currency, can become the only crypto currency for general use. There are a lot of crypto currency functions and they are diverse, especially they are diverse among tokens. One kind of crypto currency, no matter how perfect it may be, can not replace all existing coins and tokens. But the crypto currency has only just begun to develop. Especially many tokens are now, a significant part of them are very useful for people and have specific functions. No universal coin such as bitcoin, ethereum and others can physically replace tokens.
Therefore, I believe that over time the number of different crypto-currencies will only increase.

When we look at the current situation of ethereum, we can see the market level has dropped greatly. But we know most of coins which are released from ICO are ethereum based. Therefore soon the market level will rise to higher value so i think it has a great future.

Ethereum is now being accepted by many people. There are ICO like that of the Ubanx tokens that only uses ethereum as the means of exchange. Ethereum will rise and compete with bitcoin. But it is not fun for it to be the only crypto in the future.

Well, there are some points to that but let us not forget the risks behind us. If ethereum will stand as the only one in crypto then we can say it is like fiat use. It will become normal for us in daily basis.

That is impossible to happen because Bitcoin is a very strong player in which for me no Altcoins can supersede specially now that Ethereum price continue to fall almost to $400. Even do we really don't know what is the future but if the performance will constantly continue like this then it will.be impossible for the Ethereum to be the only one

Ethereum will be great in the future, if the scaling issues has been fixed by Dev of team unfortunately up to date still there are no solutions for this problem, but let's wait until the ethereum switch to PoS from PoW, maybe it is good solutions for scaling problem on ethereum's blockchain.

Ethereum is a good thing for other Altcoins because it uses smart contracts and if the ETH is low sometimes the Altcoins as well is low, i can see that the Eth has a good future and a decent price but i don't think that it will only be the one left in the future.

I can only imagine if the ETH price drops to 1 usd percoin, and I will buy as much as possible, it's just that it's ridiculous imagination.
I think Eth is not suitable if it is used as the only coin in the world, because besides the cost of gas which is sometimes quite expensive, the price has also risen quite high, but if it is used as an asset, eth is a choice that should not be forgotten.

I think ethereum future is really bright. Of we take a look on its price today maybe we can see that it is really on a very huge dip and I believe that many of us here wonder that how ethereum can survive this dip.
