Learn from your mistakes and continue on learning...there is no trading expert that immediately became successful in this area all of them took the time and the focus needed to where they are now. Just do not quit even things can be horrible and difficult but use them as like a foundation for your future growth. And most of all...if you have the chance to get a mentor who is already successful the better it will be for your learning curve.

You just said the you have budget like 1000$ ,did you made invest cause you said you are surviving 200$ .I Don't know how much knowledge you have behind crypto trading .It is really a tough way to earn .There are lot's of trading option here like Day trading ,Spot trading ,Future trading some other called gambling as a  trading . I don't know what are you following .Clear us the strategy and also if you invested any good project don't become panicked and sell your asset and loss cause market is starting to recover .

I don’t know if you have heard of Bitay but you should definitely take this one seriously as it’s is one of the fastest growing exchanges. They enable users to trade and invest in loads of cryptocurrencies as well as accelerate the growth and proliferation of the cryptocurrency ecosystem with a wide range of intuitive, accessible and efficient solutions that are geared towards real world adoption. They’ve got 700,000 KYC approved users and an average daily trading volume of $55,000,000.
They throw more light on technical analysis via their academy and also have involved NFTs, P2Es and many other utilities and we all know nothing beats utility filled  projects.
You shouldn’t miss out from this

Before we start trading Crypto, we must first analyze the coins we are going to buy.
Don't be in a hurry to make a decision, if you currently experience a decline or loss of around $200, I think it's still within safe limits. If you still hold the coin you bought then better hold it until the price goes up, And if you want to buy more coins it's better to just buy BNB, Ethereum or other top-ranked coins.
For me, buying coins in the long term has more potential to get big profits, but if suddenly the price goes up high, it's better to just sell it immediately.

The question is what coins did you use for trading? Is it Bitcoin or Altcoins and how did you lose on what occasion? did you sell your crypto at a loss? if that's the case it's your own fault because you didn't wait for the market to recover.

Your capital is low and if you doing some trades with that amount you better be awake because the risk is high Anyway if have tried arbitrage your $1000 dollars can be split into two? but you must be using a terminal because it needs 2 or more exchanges.

Note, Your OP is not giving complete info, thats why my answer is just based on speculation because I don't know what was the reason why you are losing $200 dollars as you said.

If you invest in good coins, then that loss will come up one day. Currently, crypto market  is down. So all the coins are going down. However, there is an opportunity to market up. So wait.

If you don't know about crypto trading, you must learn Technical Analysis. Try to invest in a bear market and sell in a bull market.

What you should do is stay away from crypto trading if you know you are not good enough for it.
Trading requires a good technique and fundamental analysis, make sure you know this things, if you don't, then please stay away from trading, maybe you try investing long or short term instead, but if you are so interested in trading, you can open a demo account and try to trade with the visual money and see you good you can perform in a set period of time, this will tell if you are good for live account trading or not.
And besides, $1000 usd is too much for a beginner in trading, start with maybe $100 and see how you are able to grow it, then increase the amount as you get better.

It seems you are beginner in trading maybe you should keep hold your coin for long until the price will recover.. While you wait to happen you should buy some more. Just remember if you made a good profit sell it right away just don't be greedy.

I try to buy a coin after it has dropped in value by 30-50% from its absolute high. Don't run with the crowd, wait for the coin to drop in price. The most important thing in trading is patience and it will pay off over time.

In crypto investment that is normal but not really lose cuz you still own the tokens. If the token is potential and very promising hold is the key to experience profit in the long run or maybe soon.

Fluctuations and FUDs may shake our investment. Hold on time will come everything will bounce back.

Long term investment is better than short term investment in my opinion for those who has no good knowledge about market and crypto currency trading. Because trading is a long term experience process where every one who is a good trader can earn a lot from the market. For getting successful from crypto market everyone needs to make patience and punctual also investment capacity.

nothing should go wrong, most likely you entered when  the market is up, and now the market is undergoing a correction or something prolonged red, my advice you must be patient waiting for your funds to return to profit, but it takes patience in this case

There is no one who has started trading and earn money from first try up to this day. There will be profit sooner or later and  may be you face non-success at the other time. You should keep on trying to make coin and left the rest of things on luck. Actually holding can make it easy for you to overcome the possibilities of your failure. Selection of good coin can also help you to make money.

There are teo choices.
1. If you are still ready wuth risks, go on and hold yiur coins if your coins are still valuable. You may wait for next altcoin season, don't oanic.
2. If your coins holding are shitcoins, I orefer to cut loss the coins and take another investment in top coins with good fundamental only.
3. If you have suffered enough, stop investment.

In my opinion, for long-term investment, you must have a token that has a very limited supply so that the potential for upside is still visible and of course the development of existing products makes more users and has stronger support.
