Title: Participating in airdrops as a full time job?
Post by: cryptothief on June 05, 2018, 08:38:12 PM
My first instinct is to say 'No chance'. Airdrops in general will get you a few dollars at the token sale price, and likely even less once they hit the markets. No harm in taking part in some here and there, but most seem to be mass advertising promotions now, with little value for anyone taking part. Of course there will occasionally be a winner, but as a full time occupation, nope. Keep going with that full time job and build up your portfolio of freebies on the side.

Don't want to disappoint you but a lot of airdrops do not deliver, are fake, are just a way to build an email database not to mention the odds that some ppl put their common pswd

Not sure you read my post properly, I basically said the same thing. Personally I do airdrops now and again, and although some have earned me a decent amount of money (I'm talking $20-30, not millionaire status, but not bad for free), most are only giving away a couple of dollars. Just not worth it for the data you're giving away, plus the security risk as you rightly pointed out.

agreed. And attending more than 10 airdrops in a day is even more frustrating than a full time job

airdrops are not worth the time anymore, participating in airdrop worth 1 dollar is ridiculous while the company stand to earn millions from my promotion just to appreciate me in return with just 1 usd.

i see people who participate in such as time wasters.

Probably that ridiculous 1 usd won't be given to you but in turn you will receive tone of junk mail.

For me participating in bounties is really good but when it comes to airdrop , i can't recommend it as a good job  , i can't say all airdrop is bad,  but some of it is really harmful to join , or others use it to get attention or supporters but paid you nothing. Sorry to tell that but its my way to tell specially newbies that be choosy about joining airdrops .

Taking part in airdrops over the past six months has probably earned me about $500, so it's not a complete waste of time. It's enabled me to put more money into other projects and all it cost me is a bit of time here and there. Would never recommend doing it full time, but if you are selective about the ones you participate in, it's worth doing. Just don't be disappointed when some of them end up being a waste of time, especially as most of them are.

I am engaged in airdrops in my free time, incomes out a little. The sum is not the main thing, the hope that the coin can grow very much, such as waves or ethereum.

I think that too because bounty or airdrop work is only temporary and not always the market is in good condition. when selling token also have to wait to enter new market result of airdrop or bounty can be sold.

Yeah that not a very effective if you need a high profits because air drop is a free token or free money so the token has a low value because its free so dont expect that your airdrop is have a hight value.

I.dont think one can participate in airdrops as a full time job. Airdrops can only earn you a few coins. Taking part in bounty campaigns or investment can help you earn more money.

If you add to the airdrops at least social bounty, then earnings can be very good. But need a supply of money for the first time.

airdrop only gives some coins just sometimes not enough selling price to cover gas cost it looks sad,and some of them end up scam and some are not listed in exchange, but there are some good and profitable ones, so airdrop as a full job in my opinion will only waste time.

Air drops are just give away by most start-up firm, and there is that possibility that the coin/token may be worthless when lunch on exchange. It's absolutely not good as a full time job, but an extra income earning opportunities.

Select the airdrop as a way to find free coins I think it doesn't matter. It's just that when you follow the airdrop and get coins, coin prices are very cheap. And sometimes if you already get rewarded the coins not sold are sold.

Joining in airdrops burn your time but by participating but not sure of payment at the end. Sometimes there are airdrops that have potential but often to found it.

Suppose those who does not participates on airdrops doesn't have rights to complain for they don't know what is goin on before and after participating in airdrops. Airdrops are not advisable if you are looking for decent dollars. Good for you is signature campaign to receive good rewards at the end.

No problem to join in airdrops as long as you won't blame the project at the end if you did not received such an enough tokens.

Income from airdrops very unstable. Therefore, it can not be considered as a full time job, only as a useful activity in the evening for an hour or two.

I agree with this point, there are few airdrops worth of our time but don’t leave your current job just to focus on participating on airdrops. Bounty is worth working and it gives good profit when it success but still you need to stay on your regular job to sustain your dail needs while waiting for the pay off on bounties.

Participating in airdrops as a full time job is very necessary, we here have to look for a lot of profits, lest we waste our time just a job that is not clear, we all have to work hard

I dont think you can participate in airdrops as a full time job because the returns are normally low. Some might even turn out to be scam and in the end, you will not get much returns.

in my opinion Airdrop is not effective against your income from cryptocurrency.
and that only wastes your time to register on the google form.

it's better if you take part in campaigns such as social media or signatures.

If only in airdrop it will not be a possible thing to do airdrops normally just give few dollars even if you are lucky and you hit a few jackpots in airdrop that can give you few hundred USD the amount is still small. If you say participate in other bounty campaigns etc as a fulltime job it is very possible.

Participating airdrop as regular job is not possible. Because Airdrop is not considered as a jib it is an Airdrop and there is no temporary Airdrop and we can't earn a stable earnings on it.

For me personally participating in the Bounty is really good but will not guarantee on Airdrop, I often join Airdrop, but some of them are very dangerous to join, because many are Scams. because a lot of information comes in that many of the Projects and Ads on Airdrop are cram and fraud. who clearly must be careful.

Totally agree with you.
It is an option for no one, because it won't give a damn profit.
Bounty is somehow arguable, but too is not effective to replace a full time job.

I am a bit surprised about psychology type of yours.
I mean people who don't want to risk but is satisfied with 20-30$ profit.
It is hilarious.
If you want a million, you should risk a damn amount of money and resources.
And yes, you wrote the same thing as the second post author, but at the same time, you do airdrops. It is like doing the stuff knowing you won't get anything valuable for that. It is somehow surprising.

Yes, bounties are quite different.
Because it is more serious effort dedication. So, in terms of time consuming, bounties more effective, because you will be given some tokens at last at least. In airdrops, if you've been credited with tokens, it should be treated as surprising event.

Airdrop is the easiest way to get tokens for free. but not all of the Airdrops pay, this is where we need to learn to examine which airdrop is good and not. but it's not easy, I'm not very smart myself. And I am also often trapped in fake airdrops. However, we should not break up in struggling to get benefits in this Cryptocurrency, besides airdrop there are many more ways we can do.

Airdrop is not really considered as a job and it doesn't have  enoughf profit to sustained our needs. So I think we must find another job and considered Airdrop as extra ways of earning.

I think we can only get a small amount on Airdrop it is always depending on the token and it's value. Maybe we can't lean on the profit from Airdrop and we must find another ways to make profit. Airdrop profit is unstable some time we cannot earn on it.

It is a not good idea to do this. When we say just airdrop, it is just a small amount of token compensation for the appreciation of doing a small task in your social media. But not all airdrops is legit and is attractive. It is a good to just join in the bounty campaign, instead of airdrops.

I dont think thats a good option, especially if your still on a real job right now... unless of course, your single and doesnt have anyone to feed right now.
