we, don't deny when we receive bounty payments we always ask when the list is on the market,
but sometimes we as hunters are often said to destroy the price of coins in one project,
do you open market troops directly sell your tokens or hold on until you reach a new ATH? do you have a strategy in selling your bounty results
-
It depends on your bounty tokens, If the tokens price is high, I will sell it.
Because at several case, tokens bounty will drop after distribution.
-
I am doing bounties for the past 5 years. I received hundreds of coins listed on the exchange but I never sell my coins the moment it lists of the exchange because I always believe for good profit we have to give the time to the project to implement its roadmap. For example, I hold Pundi, JRT, WEC, DeepOnion, and many more coins that give me huge profit just to have trust in the projects by holding.
-
It depends on the project quality. A project with a long-term vision could be good for holding for quite some time. But if a project is not that good then it will be better to sell off and sometimes that causes the price dump of that project. This is usual for every project and I think people should not blame hunters for price dump but blame themselves not for creating a good project.
-
what do I do when I get paid a bounty my question is when the coin is in the market and the second thing I will hold until I reach my target
-
Well it depends in my situation like if I need money I'm gonna sell right away but if I don't need it, I keep holding the coin and hoping will reach the all time high.
-
Ok, I once joined a bounty on this forum and got ETNA tokens, what I did at that time was waiting for the platform/product to be ready, about 2 months after token distribution, the price went up to 0.8 and I sold it, then I bought this coin back at the price this time and buy other coins that I think are good for the long term
-
Bounty project is not always good for getting more profit some times we have to face in loss situation. I usually hold some coin or token which has a good strength and powerful management one the other hand sell token which has no strength in the market. So i think it is necessary to observe the market condition for making decission.
-
Unfortunately, most of the bounty tokens/coins I received so far are not yet in good exchanges so I have no choice but to hold them. Now, in case there is already some value they can still be miniscule and have not yet risen to a good level so again no choice but to continue holding to them, wishing that the team is really good can do some wonders in making the token/coin valuable - and that can be the time that I will sell except if they are ERC-20 where the cost of gas can be higher than what you can get when you sell them in an exchange and in this case no choice but to hold them again. I am only giving myself this month of January and I will be deciding whether to continue doing some bounty or to shift to affiliate marketing. There is definitely a good level of excitement here but its overall profitability is quite anemic already.
-
If I get a token from a bounty, usually if it's already listed on an exchange, I always sell it. because of the experience that the tokens i can keep are like pointless because the tokens are swapped and i'm too late to join the swap or the tokens don't really have a price

It's true if we are forgetful or sometimes we don't seem to care about the coins we have because they have low value and no value, but sometimes the devs do swaps and the token value becomes available, to be honest, I'm also like you always late in finding info about the coin. owned
-
Holding tokens from projects that have good potential is very feasible for us to do, even though the tokens are already listed on the market and have a good price. But unfortunately we rarely find it, from that experience, most of the bounty hunters immediately sell the bounty tokens when they are listed on the market. Only some people will hold back to wait for prices to rise and we will get more profits.
-
I used to hold tokens from bounty campaign, for example CS, AME and BP tokens. But then their prices dropped drastically and I lost tens of thousands of dollars. It is a big regret for me. So if I get rewards from bounty campaign, I always sell them to invest in top coins: CAKE, DOT, ENJ, LINKā¦
-
I will sell all my bounty tokens when I get my bounty payment. There is no need to keep the tokens, especially they are new tokens. There are too many cases that the new tokens cannot survive a long time. Moreover, if there is a problem with the team of the project, the tokens will be dumped severely and won't increase again forever.
-
I don't know but I am a sucker for new projects. These days I usually hodl instead of dumping. And many a times it comes back to bite me in the ass. So now I want to adopt a dump-til-you-are-proven-useful stance
-
Know what kind of token we hold if it is good for long term then hold. If no future sell immediately for profit. I have BP though it dump I'll still hold. (Will send some to my friend in due time as promised).
Bounty help us to earn money but sometimes not cuz everything went unfavorable. Never give up should be the motto in order to find gold from trash projects.
Hold the gold sell the bad tokens.

I will divide my tokens from bounty.
Maybe will sell when the price is high , if reach my target or I will hold until this token be more popular.

I'm bounty working start in 2017, in which receive many altcoin for bounty like as PundiX, Ncash, Michi, WDUCX, etc. my earing 50000$ and I'm hold many altcoin like as ETH, BNB, DOT, EOS etc. without investment, only earn bounty.

I have also been participating in bounty campaigns since 2017. I tried to keep the received tokens more, hoping that they would grow in price. But after the bear market of 2018-2019, very few tokens survived after the general decline. However, all the same, I was satisfied with the profit. In recent years, there have been other problems. Now I try to keep only promising tokens, the rest I transfer to top coins, mainly ethereum. This coin seems to me the most promising.
-
I think rare bounty projects are succes.
Because the liqudity is very low.
So I will sell all of my bounty tokens when received.

Sell and hold , depends on your decision.
don't follow other consideration, every one have own luck or prediction.
So DWYOR
-
It depends on the token that I have received from a bounty campaign, if the token is already listed in exchanges and has a good price I will definitely sell. But if it's a new token then I'll hold for more benefits in the future.
-
i am new in bounty but i think it depends on your project quality
-
What I do with bounty rewards that sell those I think it does have a future and hold the strong one. I am still holding a bounty reward since 2017 and the token is doing greatly well. There are some a sold that I regretted selling them and also there are some that I hold that late went down with any profits. In the crypto business, you win some and lose some.
-
In any case, given the current state of the market, when prices have dropped significantly, I do not intend to sell my tokens received for participating in bounty campaigns yet. But in any case, you should study the prospects of the project for development and only then make a decision. I also keep tokens if their project involves passive income.
-
It depends on what kind of project it is. If the project and team look good and promising then I prefer holding that coin.I think good coins are worth holding,it can give you a good profit in the future.

Let us be honest and true to ourselves most bounty participants directly sell their bounty rewards especially if it was already listed in the market, and that's the fact Anyway, that was the payment of our participation and promotion of a particular project that's why we can do whatever we want on that coins or tokens.
-

As i got the experience from my my hunting and also involving on the bounty community ,i have seen they are always panicked seller .I just wanna share the truth ,i am also a panic seller when i just started my journey on this field .Now i am more advance on it and i just try to research the project and after getting the payment i just hold the potential project token and sell the shit coin .I just have gained enough from this strategy .I think all bounty hunter should need to more advance on it and make their own strategy.
-
Sell if the project is not looking good and hold if the project looks good. I think most of us do the same but I know there are some who sell right after they got their token by fearing price dump. This is actually okay in my opinion because most of the time price did take correction right after token distribution for the bounty.

There several good bounty tokens that I received at the past.
Ferum, DIA, CTSI, HEX etc.
I think It's the proof, because bounty tokens also have great future. So, Hold If you believe the project will success.

Sell as soon as possible, If the project seems won't have great future.
Because the price will dump.
If the legit projects and you believe It will success, Hold your bounty tokens.
-
I prefer holding on until it reaches a new ATH. We won't get much for the boundy, selling it directly is just a small money, why not stay on and hope for the best?

I think the answer to your question is quite simple. Most bounty hunters would rather $3 now than wait for the project to continue development. It is as simple and sad as I have said, few bounty hunters have the patience and knowledge to analyze the projects and know which ones to participate in, unfortunately many do things almost without thinking. The worst of all is that some time later they realize their mistake, but they do not try to correct it so that the same thing does not happen to them again.

If I got bounty tokens , I will sell as soon as possible.
Because I see many bounty tokens downed.
It make me annoyed..
-
I think we should hold 50% from bounty tokens.
Don't forget about DIA tokens, It's more expey after bounty distribution, also HEX, CTSI, FRM.
So, I will hold.

I personally believe that selling quickly is one of the worst things that can be done, although everyone does what they want with their coins/tokens logically. Many people act that way, and what they get in most cases is that the price drops a lot and sometimes they make it worthless. But I understand your way of thinking, sometimes and depending on the quality and future of the project, it is best to sell, because it can be like a car race.

I agree with your opinion, there are rare good project on bounty campaign.
But we should hold maybe 30 or 50 % of bounty tokens,
I have done it
-
I never sell my coins instantly I always hold them first If I find a project is good so I hold it unless it gives me good rewards. Yes, I agree many of the hunters sold it on the same day they receive the coins thus price dropped also drastically but most of the time it revives if the market is bearish then there is less chance of fast recovery. There are several projects that pay me huge money by holding it for long so I always wait for the implementation of the whitepaper of the project. We should hold patiently so that we can make money when the project grows.

I will learn the project and team, If the project is good and has been predicted will have Great future, I think hold is the best way to do while we received bounty tokens.

agree, I see several bounties projects are good.
So hold 50% of the bounty tokens is make sense.
Because several bounty hunters still their bounty tokens after received their rewards.
-
When I got a bounty payment, I prefer to sell around 80% of the tokens/coins. Usually, I only keep around 20% for a long-term holding, or I just wait for a higher price to sell them all. I rarely hold a bounty payment for a long time on my wallets, except the payment in stable coins or top coins. I am not really confident to hold new coins, most of them just ended with a severe decline like BP token (Beyond Protocol).
-
Most times I hodl. But sometimes, depending on the surrounding sentiments and vibes I catch about a particular project, I dump immediately. Though I have had cause to regret, like the XYO and Youcoin projects

Hold top coins is better than hold bounty tokens.
I see several bounty team is shaddy, didn't good progress.

Never hold the bounty tokens or coins. I have tried many times to hold the bounty payment in new coins or tokens, most of them ended with bad results. so, I suggest to all people to sell all your coins or tokens if you already received them. Moreover, if we are already at the beginning of the bearish season, all crypto coins will experience a bad situation in the near future. Before that days, better to convert all your coins or tokens to stable coins.

What has happened to you is that those projects had no future and were not well planned from the beginning, of course only the team is responsible for that. But I wouldn't recommend what you suggest to anyone, people are involved in very different projects and it's possible that those projects could be successful. Each project and each user is different, what can prevent us from doing things like what you say is studying the projects well, not participating in all of them.

Because I hold several bounty tokens but worthless.
Better hold top coins than bounty tokens.

Doing research first mate, If the bounty tokens from legit project I think It's better to hold.
Maybe hold 50% and sell 50%.
But It up to you.
-
If it is possible to stake tokens for staking, then I stake, while receiving a reward. Then I fix a certain part of the reward. If this is not possible, then I sell part of the tokens.
-

By seeing the success project didn't have bounty campaign.
But don't worry there are many success project that have bounty campaign.
I agree with you, we should do research first, lets learn their project and the team.
If legit project and have good project and fundamental.
We should hold our bounty tokens.

Yeah, we should hold bounty tokens when we believe the projects will success.
But I have done research several time, to learn new projects.
I have trusted, the projects will success, Unfortunately the projects were failed .
It was really annoyed.
Learn and learn , until you become good Investor.
-
I think If the token price is high, I will sell it.
Because in most cases, new tokens after being distributed usually experience an increase in price if I don't sell them immediately. Usually, the price will go down... if you wait for a new ATH, I think it's still possible, of course, waiting a long time
-
I think it may change depending on when these bounty tokens are received. If the market is in a downtrend, it may be held, but in a bull market, if the price satisfies us, it can be sold.
-
For this problem, there is a bitter experience that I've had. That is when I get paid Bounty, actually when I receive payment the price is quite expensive. But because of my lust to get more money, I ended up withholding the token. But unfortunately it's not more profit that I get, but the price is a big dump and I regret it very much. So for now and in the future, I want to immediately sell Bounty tokens, while there is a price.
-
Learning from the previous mistakes. I will sell the tokens as soon as possible after receiving them, and they are listed on an exchange. No worry of the price will rise up or not. There is no benefit to holding new tokens or coins right now, most of them are just dropping their values quickly. I think the current strategy is as quick as possible to convert the bounty tokens/coins to stable coins or fiats. Never think again to hold them for a certain time.
-
I have a lot of tokens from various campaigns but I prefer the Signature campaign and it really makes me enjoy being on the Altcoinstlaks forum and the results of the bounty tokens I immediately sell because I need it for my living expenses.
I also lost a lot of moments to not escape from "The Winner is Holder" because I always release my coins after getting the results of the tokens from the bounty, it's a shame but this is my Ninja way!
-
It's been a long time not getting paid from the bounty, I also miss getting paid and then selling it and getting money.
But unfortunately, now many Bounty projects violate the rules they made themselves!
Before we sell the Bounty Result token, it's a good idea to do an analysis first. Is it worth it to hold the token, or just sell it right away. choose which one is the best.
-
Learning from the previous mistales. I will sell the tokens as soon as possible after receiving and listed on exchange. No worry of the proce will rise up or not.
Many do, but they will regret it when the price of the coin increases 100x in a matter of months.
It's not easy for us to get a lot of money from the Bounty project, but at least we can maximize profits before we decide to sell coins or tokens from Bounty at a low price.

I agree with you, if you participate in the bounty of a good project you can get good benefits. But normally bounty hunters don't wait and sell immediately for a few dollars, and that's a mistake they regret a few months later, when the project begins to mature. Patience is very necessary in the world of cryptocurrencies, patient users usually earn much more than impatient ones. But it is also something that depends directly on the user and the need for that money.
