I think it is Ethereum, Ethereum is the second most popular Crypto coin right now.
Ethereum is ranked second on Coinmarketcap, Ethereum also has the second market cap volume after Bitcoin.
I think this is the most decent coin, nothing else.

In my opinion with the little capital you have, you should prioritize coins that already have volatility in the market in investing, in this case such as BITCOIN and ETH are good investment coin for long future. I believe ETH is next bitcoin.

i think lots of coins are coming these days. but no one could be near to Bitcoin i think the near coin could be Ethereum coin. Ethereum coin have the power and ability to bi next bitcoin

Apart from etherum with the upcoming 2.0 upgrade will be a huge game-changer next coin that will be after Bitcoin or even surpass it will be an asset that combines all the benefits and innovation of predeceasing innovative tokens /coins but also will have a true global utility and interchangeability like a coin that is denominated in to energy which would be its underlying asset ( short example -> every store has an energy bill all forms of activity have one thing in common which is energy ...)

Sir according to me it is difficult to imagine anyone else in place of bitcoin. But as you are saying, if we look at the next way, then we can see ethereum because, after bitcoin, ethereum is discussed in the market.

ETH is the next Bitcoin becasue just this coin hold their level and just for now the other coins are never will hold their level and they just pump like the bubble and then they will comes down. ETH is the next bitcoin this time this is true.

In my opinion, ETH or BNB are probably the candidate of the next famous coins after Bitcoin. Just look at the position of these two coins on CMC or CoinGecko, also how the development of these two crypto coins till today. We simply know it by seeing market caps of ETH or BNB coin. While other coins seems harder to be the candidate of the next famous coins as well as Bitcoin.

How if Ethereum fixes the problem about gas fees?
I think Vitalik and the team won't let this problem decrease the reputation of the Ethereum platform. They probably try their best to deal with the expensive gas fees. ETH 2.0 may be the beginning of the solution, so there is no doubt that Ethereum to always lead all altcoins. And ETH is the best crypto to replace BTC if it is possible.

No doubt it would be ethereum because it also popular coin but my problem of this ethereum is the network because the fee is really expensive, it reach $20 in just one transaction and surprisingly it can not affect the price and ethereum platform, people still trading ethereum..

In addition, there where many times that Ethereum was overtaking at the number two position by Ripple (XRP) and I believe few other altcoins can also overtake Ethereum in near future. Yes, in crypto anything can happen, coin/token like BNB, SOL, XRP, ADA, etc can overtake Ethereum in near future.

Hopefully I have coin A to have more Bitcoins.
It's better if I have my own coin which I believe will increase in price someday and it's definitely different from other people's choices in various forums.
Sometimes I have a little Bitcoin and have a simple altcoin that was just launched so it is certain that in the future the coin will be 50:50, between ups and downs it depends on the market.

Maybe solana or BNB will be the next bitcoin, because Ethereum problem didn't have been solved by Ethereum developer.

Ethereum is far behind Bitcoin in popularity though, even if it is the second most popular crypto. I am not sure it can overtake BTC anytime soon. Something major has to happen for that to occur, in my opinion.

The next coin after the bitcoin i don,t think so that will come in the market becasue this time so many new coins will launched and that just pump once time and after that it go down regularly. This time the market is not good and it will be down but in future it will go high so much.

I will bet on Shiba coins because this Shiba coin was created more than just for Meme coins because behind the development of this Shiba coin there are so many features on the website.
I also saw that the Shiba #DevelopmentTeam kept themselves a secret so they wouldn't become something that everyone would hate and the result is that Shiba is still in the top 20 of Coinmarketcap.

Maybe what we can say is Ethereum because Ethereum has so many ecosystem levels and maybe even if we talk about alternative tokens, 50% of the ecosystem in the cryptocurrency market is owned by the ecosystem of Ethereum or ERC20.
I feel this will give a good positive value after Bitcoin continues to be ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap and next is Ethereum which has a 50% ecosystem in the entire cryptocurrency market.

Now, practically, it all comes down to the ability of bitcoin as a whole to increase in price. As soon as the price growth of bitcoin stops, and this will happen anyway sooner or later, the situation in the cryptocurrency market will change very quickly. Bitcoin is already very far behind the bulk of cryptocurrencies, and therefore the possibility of replacing it as a leader in this market is quite logical. Who it will be still difficult to say, since the situation in this market is changing very quickly.

You are right, for me ETH is the second best currency after BTC, although as you say it can never beat BTC, I know that there are many believers in ETH and that it contains many intrinsic projects, but what really moves the market is what is generated In BTC, in addition to the fact that BTC is the only currency that has its own life, ETH does not have its own life as much as they want, you just have to compare that when BTC goes up, ETH goes up enormously and if it goes down, ETH bleeds in a big way.

We can see that Bitcoin is a super power with the strength of the marketcap, ecosystem, community that always supports Bitcoin perfectly and of course Bitcoin also has something that is very dominant in the cryptocurrency market.
But if we talk about altcoins that are able to compete like Bitcoin, I don't think anyone has been able to because of the current position when Bitcoin is red, all altcoins are red, this evidence is enough to prove that altcoins cannot stand alone unless they have to be topped by Bitcoin !
