One of the very reason why the 45th president Donald Trump criticized Bitcoin is because he is seeing its rise as a possible contributing factor to the weakening and then ultimate demise of the USA Dollar and it is not based on any ideologue which can based on the thinking of the left-leaning politicians who hate anything that they can't control just like Bitcoin.

Now, is this really possible that if massive number of people will be adopting Bitcoin in their daily transactions and in international commerce, one day the USA Dollar will decrease in value which can mean that hyper-inflation can hit the country like USA?

Eventually the US economy is suffering from the blows of a totally inflationary economy, and it is not that BTC is the solution (although for me it is) government systems will never accept that they have vulnerabilities in their traditional systems, for them it works is "what safe", and referring to other cryptoactives, for them it does not apply, would be like accepting that the real bubble is the FIAT money system based on a supposed backing by "gold", which is very far from reality.

People can use bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies more, but states will not do it. Don't even hope for it. A decentralized cryptocurrency does not suit the state, and not only because of the high price volatility, although this is also of great importance. States cannot use as currency what they cannot regulate and control. Therefore, they will use blockchain technology and create their own digitized central bank currencies, their own CBDCs.
Cryptocurrency should not be in conflict with the fiat of the states, this cannot lead to a victory over the states.

Movements of the dollar's decline is inevitable, and see what the United States have made over the years

Encryption currency, existence is reasonable

In the future, block chain will spread to the public

However, the President of the United States have been thinking of aggression

The result is again and again hit his face

I think It's just scare of don't trump while become US president.
The US government fear because bitcoin phenomenon is very amazing, so popular and  seems will replace USD.
Not only USA, I think several big countries too such as China, India, Russia and other.
But I believe no one can refuse the future technology
