Honestly, I think many nation are just too confused about Bitcoin and every one of them are afraid of Bitcoin to be frank. Today Russia is banning Bitcoin, tomorrow Russia CBN governor said, " Banning Bitcoin is like banning internet". The world has suddenly gone into confusion. The other months, India was on the news on crypto ban, and the next month, India decided on regulations and crypto tax. I think it high time these nations take a stand and cease these noise about crypto ban or not ban. I am personally tired of these ban thing. Thanks

I am glad to hear that Russia’s finance minister Anton Siluanov is making a lot of sense here. yes, that is quite true, even if the government can be banning cryptocurrency there will always be people to get involved with it and that is happening right now in China though of course no one wants to report the failure of the government in there to totally wipe out cryptocurrency. Therefore, the best thing to do is to regulate it and in that case the government is making some money from tax and people who love crypto can also be happy - definitely a big win-win formula and not another stupid one just like the one adopted by China.

You are not the only one who is tired of bans and other stories, but in most cases it is just media speculation. If Anton Siluanov's statements are completely true, we would be facing one of the few cases in which a politician speaks clearly and is consistent with reality, and that would also be an achievement for the cryptocurrency industry and the community. Now that Russia's problems with Ukraine and NATO seem to have calmed down a bit, it might be the best time for the Russian government to step up regarding cryptocurrencies.

As always, in Russia there is still no consensus and a single approach to what to do with cryptocurrency - to ban or regulate. In addition, even if the Ministry of Finance supports the regulation of cryptocurrency, however, it again divides citizens into professional investors and non-professional ones. In my opinion, the division into essentially smart and fools is somehow humiliating.
I do not think that Russia's belligerent ultimatums against Ukraine and NATO have subsided. On the contrary, Putin's regime has raised the stakes, is concentrating the maximum number of troops and equipment around Ukraine, and is also putting forward impossible ultimatums to Ukraine and NATO in advance.
