The announcement of player ratings is a highly anticipated event and each year it will include an exclusive group of players who will be admitted to the sought-after 99 Club. Other players will also be in line as the season gets underway, it becomes clear that there are plenty of surprises, and determining who will climb to the top and who will fall to the wayside is simply impossible. The surprise participants of the final game of the season have demonstrated this even more than before. While the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams play at SoFi Stadium for the big game, and predictions flood through from all directions One thing that's certain can be said to be Madden NFL 22's Super Bowl player ratings are far from accurate.
For many, the biggest surprise during the postseason has been the emergence of the Cincinnati Bengals and the team's unproven rise toward winning the Super Bowl. Madden NFL 22 developer, EA was perhaps the most stunned by this, since the team is sporting an overall score of 75, which is the lowest in the overall game. With a top-ten run-back in Joe Mixon (currently sitting at 93) and Comeback Champion Joe Burrow at an--albeit underrated--86, the woeful team rating is clearly unlike what fans are seeing in the field each week. The biggest tragedy on the Bengals team can be seen in Tight End, C.J Uzomah who has been an elite player at his job, yet still has a low average of 79.
The Rams are more adequately rated by a respectable score of 84. However, this is less than the Buccaneers, Cardinals, and Ravens which the Rams defeated in the regular season, and also a postseason win over both Tampa Bay and Arizona. They have two players rated 99 on their roster: the formidable defensive tackle Aaron Donald and shut-down Cornerback Jalen Ramsey. The team's rating is somewhat puzzling, but what is perhaps more puzzling is the rating given to the quarterback, Matthew Stafford. Stafford has scored 41 touchdowns, averaging 4800 yards and scoring three or more TD passes on nine occasions throughout the regular season, Stafford has a mere 83 overall on Madden NFL 22.
