The YES votes are finally in and the long-awaited EOS mainnet launch is underway, with a live feed provided by EOS Authority counting down the seconds to activation.
The launch of the EOS blockchain has been a giant experiment in remote self-organization, with block producer candidates — who will function as validators in the network — voting to determine whether the blockchain will go live or not.

I sure hope market respond to the future coin after ethereum success. Here comes EOS. Next stop infrastructure. We should be included to different nations currency exchange from EOS to fiat money. That should do the trick. We'll be huge then.

History in the making! I'm so excited to be a part of this, and I've just voted for my BPs too which was easier than I thought, I just followed this guide on Steemit https://steemit.com/eos/@iamsubbu/how-to-vote-for-eos-blockproducers
EOS is going to change the game, big things to come :D

Hello Henrikbliss
Celebrating EOS mainnet launch is hilarious
They had a year and $4B ffs
It's like investors were waiting with bated breath having an expectation of failure

I'm finding the Greymass and LiquidEOS voting portals seem to work the best! Whales seem to be coming out and giving some love to EOS New York as well!

Seems like BTC fud is starting a pullback, ive been wanting to get in but wanted some lower prices, looking to take some positions if the btc drop continues.

Only 100 people own about 75% of all EOS tokens. This means that even by removing the exchanges, the 10-20 best wallets can win all the votes, even if the whole community votes against them. It's just absurd.
It has even been relayed by several great influencers of the digital world, like Jackson Palmer the Adobe producer and also the founder of @Dogecoin . So you can trust this type of information

Its kind of funny because Steem in a lot of ways is the same way... all the steempower makes it so they get all the money and a lions share of the rewards... it almost seems to be the fairest to the dev because he creates them this way. I still want in but that is pretty ridiculous.

Yes, we have to be very careful when investing in this type of project because developers can easily lower the price of the currency.

No Kitcho, it isn't hilarious and there was no expectation of failure..
The network did experience a few issues prior to launch but it is live today. The community should celebrate..

EOS still not tradeable on exchanges.

hi, do we have eos wallet now? i'm not referring to ethereum wallet that is used to store eos tokens, but the real eos wallet in eos blockchain. something like myetherwallet that is eos version.

But unfortunately after the EOS mainnet in June the price went up by around 14 USD and now the EOS price is around 5 USD.
If it's more consistent with the price of 14 USD, I think EOS will continue to stick to Ethereum at number 2.
