Regulators in Thailand have decided to limit the use of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. The authorities consider the country’s current payment system efficient and insist cryptos would only bring risks for the financial system, economy, people and businesses. Okay so they are banning cryptocurrencies as mode of payment but accepting them as investments? Maybe because of volatility concerns if in case companies are adopting specific cryptocurrencies (e.g., SHIBA, SLP, etc.) as alternative payment options. Just my opinion.
