A$DC rocks the Aussie dollar as ANZ bank mints first AUD stablecoin

“Most of the industry utilizes non-bank and often unregulated USD stablecoins. Now with this Big 4 bank-issued AUD stablecoin, the use case is a lot more compelling,” said ZeroCap CEO Ryan McCall.

This is actually a very interesting development as we know that stablecoins are not usually issues by banks no matter if they are huge or just a medium category. But we know that this is just another version of the fiat money in a digital form so am not sure if people would love this A$DC and would be patronizing it though as far as the Big 4 bank is concerned am sure that since they got their own captured market then certainly it can do a business volume with it. This is really worth watching on how a stablecoin which is bank-issued can be playing a role in the marketplace.
