I would choose bitcoin over other Cryptocurrencies because I am sure I will get more profits if I buy it. Also since a lot of people know about it, people will definitely buy it and I wont run at a loss. In addition, it can stand the test of time.

I think the biggest reason is its just not really hackable and it does exactly as it needs to (atleast in a digital commodity sense) and has stood the test of time.. large money prefers time tested products and it will continue to grow.. any of its shortcomings only matter if you view it as a currency (which i dont).
