Meme video, Art, cartoon has given certain crypto coins, like Dogecoin, Shibaeinu etc has gained some advantages to be meaningful even though some people think that these meme coins has know usercases.

If am to say, I don't really fancy doge coin. It was a coin that has been in the market for a long time. It has been rising and falling but not reached $1. Despite the popular Elon musk is behind it, how much is the price now? Less than $0.10.

There are 2 million addresses holding at least 1$ worth of doge, taking into account a 90x smaller marketcap than Bitcoin, then the number is more than 4 times!

2013 and the first ICO craze has passed, 2017 and the new generation of "project coins" has passed, then we had 2021 and the token wave of good projects, and...what where the good projects of those ages cause thousands of them are dead and buried 100 feed deep right now?
Actually, do tell me of a coin that is used how the whitepaper envisioned and not just to buy now and hold and hope it's going be more valuable or traded to make more money, which basically can be done with any coin!
What's the difference in this omnious "project" I keep hearing that made shiba Inu worth 5 billions and cosmos 4.9 billions!
It's a decade ago since I kept hearing "good project" I've yet to see one that has made it into what it claimed to be other than stable coins!

Decentralization, no father figure with total control, POW, permisionless blockchain, ? What's different fundamentally in dogecoin?
The only tiny different is the annual generation that is fixed, so it will trigger a currently 3% and 2% inflation by 2030, other than that it's basically litecoin!
So, how do other coins that are in top 20 stack by this?
Ethereum - POS, centralized decisions around Butterin, premined
Binance- premined, completely centralized
XRP - not even a real crypto
Cardano - premined, centralized around the foundation, not minable
and so on and on and on
So, which coin out of the top 20 outside Litecoin resembles most what Bitcoin stands for besides Doge?

That is the risk mate , we should understand the possible profiting same as the possible failure because if there is no shilling Dogecoin is doubtly to increase , better to have your extra funds for this mate and never put your in need funds as if the plans or the hopes changes then you are ready to lose.

I also think the same as you Stompix, I know more about BNB when I switched to Binance Smart Chain from BEP2.
Since then I have seen a lot of information saying that BNB is a centralized coin and can be frozen at any time by Cz.
I also saw many members saying (but I forget which topic they said it on) about the transaction fees for BNB coins on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain which could be manipulated by Cz, such as increasing and decreasing the gas. It is very clear that BNB is a Centralized coin.

Doge is often used as a safety net much as LTC for Bitcoin.
So when you have to move money from exchanges to a casino, to withdraw form any of them, and many other things likes mall purchases and the fees on BCT are though the roof people turn to doge as it's accepted everywhere, it's fast as hell and it's cheap!
You won't be able to cash BNB on an ATM in some cities but for sure you will find one that accepts doge!

Well, I believe in doge coin because the coin has an unlimited supply but yet the coin's value and demand is high compare to so many other coins in the crypto market that have just a limited supply. When I first received dogecoin from airdrop some years back, the coin was just very very less in value but today the value have increased so much and it even generated a lot of profit for some investors.

DASH, AUGUR, NEM, NXT, Wuoaagghhh these are such legendary coins that I still remember, but now these coins are gone as if they were swallowed by the earth.
I also still remember that NXT gave a 1:1 coin airdrop with IGNIS coins and had an increase in value of more than 100%.
But in the end IGNIS and NXT all disappeared somewhere and DOGE is still flying today, still in the top 10 Coinmarketcap.
Looks like these annoying members have to read my and your posts so you can be sure that the DOGE coin is not just a MEME coin. :P

I think the increase of Doge wasn't caused by the increase of Bitcoin but it was likely the impact of good news in crypto space. Also, sometimes there is good news about the development of meme coin hype. So far, there is no big role from Elon Must to trigger the increase of Doge. You can be patient to wait for Elon Musk's tweets, or you don't need to wait for the help from Elon Musk to take profits.

Dogecoin surely can increase its price although it is still far from its ATH. However, it doesn't always follow the increase of Bitcoin. Mostly Dogecoin increases because of the good news on meme coins. Or it can increase significantly because of a positive issue from Dogecoin community or tweets/posts from Elon Musk.

Yep. It seems Elon Musk still supporting Dogecoin. But his efforts probably won't be as serious as in the past. Not sure if we can expect great movement on Doge price when it is in Trump's inauguration. Well, we don't expect too much on this!!

Of course, doge will not always increase because of the influence of bitcoin, because many can provide a boost to doge because of the many elements that occur, but indeed, apart from the good news from the meme coin, what is clearly awaited and anticipated is the role of Elon to be able to provide a positive side with the tweets made and this is usually highly anticipated but will Elon do it again? It is difficult to determine elon's way of thinking.

Doge has a large community of supporters, and I doubt they will all rely on Elon Musk to raise Doge's price. Doge's price will rise as expected when the market bulls, as we can see from the fact that Doge is increasing in value as Bitcoin does. However, if Elon Musk tweets about Doge, it will be a benefit for Doge to soar more than expected.
Even if Doge has a big community, I'm sure they still expect for something surprising from Elon Musk. There is no much that Doge community can do for the big increase of Dogecoin price now. Even if Doge has many holders, what they can do to trigger the big pump on Doge price? However, the role of Doge developer is needed now. I don't see significant efforts from the developer to make the high increase of Doge value.

I think it's natural that they're still hoping for a surprise from Elon for Doge, because experience has proven it to be very effective. I also think we can't ignore the fact that his fairly large community will influence whatever Elon will do.
Because Elon also needs a reputation and that can be obtained from a great community like Doge, it will always influence what Elon will do, and we're patiently waiting for that.
