Bitcoin is already legal tender in Roatán, Honduras and Madeira, Portugal. Now a Mexican Senator wants to make it so in her country as well.

You forgot to mention about El Salvador being the first country in the world who made Bitcoin a legal tender. Now because Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are contagious and cannot be stopped from being adopted worldwide, politicians like Samson Mow have seen the bigger picture of it and finally understands the real and positive use cases of Bitcoin.
