The digitalization of the fashion industry is inevitable with the rising popularity of the Metaverse, but technological improvements are still required to gain momentum.
Incredible as it may seem, digital fashion has developed so much that it already needs its own fashion week with all that implies: from the shows and presentations of new collections to public talks and parties with true DJs. The first-ever digital fashion week took place March 23-27 in Decentraland, a decentralized virtual social platform on the Ethereum blockchain.
Previously, Jonathan Simkhai presented his collection in Second Life right before New York Fashion Week. After the show, skins of evening outfits could be purchased at NFT to dress up users’ avatars in Second Life.

So in this case, we can expect famous fashion designers to also be making their presence in the Metaverse...and I think this is already inevitable as surely there can be huge money that can be made for them here. Just imagine designing a gown that can be sold for thousands of dollars and yet there is no physical cost whatsoever...such is the big potential here. And I am predicting that this can be a multi-million sub-niche of the Metaverse...now we already have Nike and Adidas making big moolah selling digital shoes.

Metaverse is fast taking over the crypto space and is unlocking a world of possibilities. I love the rapid progress being made by metaverse. I have also found cool metaverse projects like Arcade2earn that is loaded with captivating features. I think metaverse is here to stay, it’s the future of cryptocurrency
