A new data has revealed that the number of women considering adding cryptocurrency to their portfolio has doubled since the beginning of this year.
According to a market research conducted by UK-based cryptocurrency exchange London Block Exchange (LBX), the number of women considering an investment in cryptocurrencies went from 6% to 13% over the past six months.

Promising, but still massively short of where it should be. And this is only women that are' considering investing', the percentage is even less when you look at actual investors. The finance markets, traditional and crypto, are dominated by men. Maybe it's because women tend to be safer with investments, bird in the hand worth two in the bush and all that. Good to see more women in the sector though, can only be a positive step.

Maybe in this era, women are more economic independence, and rational in investing.

Funny I was just replying today to a thread about lack of women in this space. I think the gap will start to close but slowly. I've noticed in my own circles of people that women are more common in crypto than there used to be.. hopefully it will continue to improve.

That's right. Many women are now involved in crypto to do some activities. Mostly, they are traders or investing their money.
