Australian regulator trials auto take-down of crypto scam sites

The ACCC is using a countermeasures service from the U.K.-based Netcraft, which has been providing a similar service to the U.K.’s National Cyber Security Centre.

Of course, if the sites are fraudulent and this is confirmed by certain facts, then they need to be deleted. This problem has been around for a very long time. Cryptocurrency attracts many scammers, and only government agencies can effectively deal with them. True, as always, abuses of this right may appear here. But nothing is perfect yet.
