As the title says, Do you think Bitcoin's 2017 highs were artificially inflated? Is it possible to manipulate price of Bitcoin?

The rumours says whales are the responsible for the changes of bitcoin price. It means whales can manipulate the price of bitcoin as we all are affected by that whether it travels up or down.
