Unfortunately there is no way to know from the beginning. You have to rely on the reputation of the manager, analyse information about the project and much more. Perhaps the service that collect statistics about the conducted bounty might be useful
-
There are many topics on this forum - how to choose a successful ico. But sometimes even they do not help and the project turns out to be a scam.
-
There are what we called instincts and identification. Reading the whitepaper and know the team in order to have something idea about scam or not.
-
Follow the groups of the project like facebook, twitter, and search for the visible team members. That will be a good move to follow the updates.
-
It's difficult to know in the first look but if you do a research about the ICO and the team behind or join in their telegram you will know the difference from other ICO and if something unusual you need to stay away from that bounty. It's better to find other bounty that you feel good.
-
You can read this article to avoid the bounty that you've join for are good or not.

for me its hard to know if the bounty is scam .. you need to search , read and analyze ! And if something unusual you need to stay away from that bounty and find another one .. well that's life you have to try and try until you succeed 😊

To know bounty is a Scam, we have to check :
-The background of the project or company.
-There must have a product.
-Legal documents of the project.
-Their social media.
-Their Team members and Advisors reputation.
-Finally, Their concept.
-
And one additional way to know that bounty is a scam is,
The Team.
Are the real names of the team provided? If you can’t find any information or section dedicated to their team members or the profiles provided seem a little too generic, be sure to do some deep research first.
Double check team members’ names with respect to their stated experience or ability to deliver.
-
Not only that let us not forget the visible active team is also important to let the people trust the project. If you encounter the invisible team and fb page then you have the rights to think that it is scam.
-
It is difficult to know that the bounty is scam or not. But, we must analyze the team, ICO project and concept, and also the transaction. It can help us to minimize the risks.
-
When you bounty join the bounty before you should get all information about of the bounty like how is the bounty manger, his rank, how many people have joined this then you can know the which bounty is scam.
-
Unfortunately it is difficult to know bounty the scam. I participate in the bounty I choose according to my reasonable calculations. such as good allocation and team.
-
Now many scammers have learned to hide, which is very hard to see the truth. Sometimes it's impossible to guess at all.
-
It's pretty hard to tell, but there are things you can do to protect yourself. Looking into the team beforehand is a good idea, if any reputable names are in there it's safe to assume they're legit. Read through their whitepaper, if it's decently thought out and proofread, that's also usually a good sign. Not to say a good whitepaper is the only standard, there are definitely some bounties I've done where the whitepaper was atrocious and they paid out. It's probably in your best interests to not worry about who is trying to scam you and just do what you can with bounties. You will lose more time trying to discover scams than if you just did the bounty itself. Aside from signatures of course, they usually pay out the most and a scam one could cost you a decent amount.

inactive staff at their telegram channel which uses bots instead of personal messages. Suspicious website is one thing. and the bounty rewards which seems impossible.

There are many tell-tale signs. The very 1st thing here is… you need to do your background research. See what the other people are saying, maybe someone got scammed already? The 2nd thing is making sure that the project itself looks legit.

t's a scam if the community of the project is not very active with admins. Sometimes you can see the whitepaper it's super non-sense and if the agreement to the other company is fake. You need assurance to this cases so you must check all the social media accounts of that project. Also ask them about the project not only about the bounties.
-
Just look at the amount of prize allocation, ICO project team profile and social media. if social media rarely make news or announcements about the project then 70% of projects are scam. I can only predict ico project only 50:50. between a scam or no value.
-
Indeed to make predictions about a project failure or success is very difficult so as a hunter must be ready to accept any future risk without blaming anyone in order to keep the situation safe.
-
I am always hardly find or identify the scam ICO because many scam nowadays are good of creating an appearance that can easily cheat the people.
-
Totally agree with you. You never know if the project turns out to be good or scam. Therefore, if you invest, you are very at risk.
-
very difficult to know How to know the bounty of a scam, because bounty good its final sale of the completion of the project is not right, if choose bounty must know its sales and also its co-worker.

Scam bounty may result of scam ICO. We must review the project first and watch out how transparency the team so that our work wont turn to useless.
-
If I myself see from the website, a team that works real and clear, the roadmap is also important to learn. I also analyze the telegram group and the liveliness of the admin.
-
According to what I had noticed it is difficult to tell scam ICO. We can definitely knew it at the end but during it seems legit. Tips check out the team members and search as soon as possible.
-
It's really difficult to know that the bounty campaign is a scam because because reading their platforms is also encouraging for participants to apply.
-
how to find out the SCAM bounty by looking at the sale of the bounty and also we have to know the team that made the bounty2
-
You have to rely on the reputation of the manager...
Not true. Campaign Managers are like us they also receive their rewards after the ICO projects end. Once the project did not become a success, or it becomes a scam they will receive nothing and that includes us.
-
how to know bounty the scam can be viewed from the sale of its tokens, if the sales target is not achieved then bounty it is a scam, we must follow the bounty campaign that his sales success.

When joining a bounty, I take into account the manager of the bounty first because if he is reputable then he wouldn't just immediately manage a project without having a due diligence first. There are times that they would fail and manage a scam one but they take action immediately and let the people know about it so that those scammers cannot scam more people. Check the members of the team too and if you can get confirmations from their partner companies then do it.
-
Will in my observation about bounty scam i found only in a telegram because some of the board in bounty will not responsed during asking concerns about campaign .So it is hard to know in the first steps for validating bounty scams and hopefully it will be banned at the end.

At first hand it is really hard to see if an ICO Project is a scam because most of them are really deceiving, covering their true intents through their marketing strategies. Better thing to do is to dig deeper, do more research about the ICO. Check the team behind it, the road map and the website. The contact channel is also very important.

yes it should be so, that we should look at the reputation of the manager and also the ico team or the ico objectives, I think it is all really necessary to know the good bounty and the ugly or the scam.

To know bounty is a scam , You can read whitepaper, roadmap and their team.
-
Yeah, it is really difficult to know from the beginning whether it is scam or not. A clear information of the project, team and advisor, or manager reputation sometimes cannot guarantee for the real bounty or scam. Mostly, we know that it is a scam when the ICO has over or almost over.
-
also the moderator in this forum can help to choose a good bounty campaign, so it doesn't scam and ordain useless time.
with the help of the moderator, the members in this forum can understand well what is the bounty that will succeed on the Exchange.

By following their admin or bounty manager at social media. They will give you a clue about the bounty.
-
It is hard to tell whether the project is scam or not but I see some aspects why I consider as the project as scam. First of all the spreadsheet once the spreadsheet was not updating then I already consider it as scam because they didn't check the desired stake. Next is their website once the content of the website was not good enough then I consider that as scam and lastly the manager once the manager of the campaign has a red trust then I didn't join that kind of campaign.
-
it is very difficult to detect a SCAM bounty because at the bottom of it a Bounty Manager cannot distinguish it.
For example, such as ICO projects that do not reach Softcap, then the funds will be returned to the investor, but it can also be said as a SCAM bounty.
-
Well it's difficult to know which bounty is a scam because some ICO looks legit, but in the end they will gone like a bubble, maybe we should keep research the ICO first like the team and the background one of them if they really work that ICO so we can say it's a legit.
-
