The conflict between Russia and the west has reached a new height.

The social media firm Meta has been designated as a terrorist and extremist group by Rosfinmonitoring, also known as the Federal Financial Monitoring Service. An entity called Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has been included in a list of groups engaged in terrorism and extremist activities.

I am not at all surprised by such a step by Putin's Russia. They try to suppress any dissent. Everything that does not correspond to their ideology of rashism is recognized as hostile. We see how this "evil empire" is consistently fighting against social networks, where people freely express their point of view. Implantation of the ideology of superiority over other peoples and intolerance to the expression of any other views, the constant search for the image of the enemy led today's Russia to collapse. I hope that this under-empire will soon disintegrate after the military defeat in Ukraine.
