The Three part of Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Other Big Market Need Before investing.
 
1. learn how Market work.
 This is we called Fundamental Analysis.

2. learn atleast ONE of this pattern how this  Candlestick, Bar Chart, Line Chart Formation.
This is we called Technical Analysis.
       some trader used NAKED trading, Some used RSI, Bollinger band, and other Indicator.
       also Learn Support and Resistance and other Tools.
     
Go to this site www.tradingview.com and find currency you want ex. BTC/USD btc stand for Bitcoin and USD for US Dollar. to try your skills.
   

3. Speculation is the last, we know that Bitcoin and other market is not stable that's why speculation is part. its sound easy but your enemy in this part is your self.

My strategy is waiting for a cool market and invests 50% of the money in altcoins while holding rest to get BTC or ETH in a market dump.

Everyone have own strategy regarding our security of investing, your idea sir is great and i used that too  ;D.
