I am certainly surprised that the next Ethereum network upgrade will only be in the second half of 2023. The transition to the PoS algorithm has been going on for two years already. Well, the developers know better. The main thing here is to avoid mistakes. Scheduled updates required. Especially those that will help increase network bandwidth and scalability.
